hange is happening in the Grey Valley as a small group of people work to improve cemeteries, domains and community projects. Grey district councillor and Ahaura resident Anton Becker has been one of the driving forces behind a number of projects including
the improvements at the Ahaura Cemetery and the Ahaura History Park. While he had pushed to get the projects under way he said completion was largely due to a number of people picking up the projects and finishing jobs behind the scenes. The new kiosk at the Ahaura History Park includes a number of photo
panels with information telling the long history of the Ahaura township and surrounding area. Ahaura valley resident Jo Keppel was the main force behind the completion of the panels.
