Dirty Sanchez from InfoSpace wins EIEF Edge Mobile Award This is my favourite mobile game. Thanks and congrats to our partners! The concept of this game was bourne out of games brainstorm led by Henrik Werdelin while he was still at MTV. I think this is one of the few mobile games that truly relates the essence of a TV programme. Get it and play it! It's really great for boring meetings under the table... InfoSpace has won the new EIEF (Edinburgh International Entertainment Festival) Edge Mobile Award for its mobile game Dirty Sanchez. Readers of Edge magazine and Edge Online voted to chose the winner from four nominated mobile games developed by InfoSpace, Fountainhead Entertainment and id Software, Gameloft and Digital Chocolate. The EIEF Edge Awards reception at The Jam House, Queen Street, Edinburgh on Monday 21st August was presented by Edge Games editor Margaret Robertson.

What Edge says: "Dirty Sanchez developed by InfoSpace. With an aggressively off-beat style and an understanding that micro-games are well-suited to a mobile gaming attention span, this is a game that instantly marked itself out from the crowd. However, what earned it a place on the shortlist was how well it takes advantage of its platform. Its suite of pass-the-phone microgames may only be diverting at best, but its forfeit system, which allows players to type in their own Jackass-inspired tortures for the losers, is something which could only work on a mobile."
