Race Summary Having won comfortably at Newmarket, JUST AMBER steps up in class from an 8lb higher mark. The manner in which Clive Cox’s filly scored, however, suggests she could be up to the task and, in a trappy affair, she receives a tentative vote. New Heights ought to appreciate the drop in trip following a below-par effort over 1m2f at Windsor, and Tyler Saunders’ 5lb claim should further aid her chances. Win:

The Defiant deserved his Lingfield win after some decent efforts and he shouldn’t be far away, despite a 5lb penalty for that success. The 10 stall may not help his cause, though, and he might have to follow STREET LIFE home. Disqualified after winning at Wolverhampton, he is due to compete off a 4lb higher mark after this so should have every chance from a good draw. Ellie Piper is another to consider with the chance of more improvement to come. STREET LIFE Danger: The Defiant
