BuckWild
Grammy nominated and multi-platinum producer, Buckwild has been creating music for over 20 years now and has created countless, timeless classics that are still relevant and legendary to this day. Having worked with icons and legends such as Biggie, Jay-Z, Big L, Big Pun, Nas, Black Rob, Fat Joe, Diddy and so forth, Buckwild is stamped as a legendary producer. A graduate from Diggin’ in the Crates School of Beat Making, Buckwild was a very well-respected DJ. As his career progressed, he went from DJ to producer and provided beats for music that transcends through generations.
Today, Buckwild looks to better the state of hip hop. Being in the industry for over 20 years entails a vast, deep knowledge of music and the industry, therefore Buckwild is the one to tell you that music has changed over time as well as the industry. As a Bronx native DJ, Buckwild, was one of New York City’s only to have sold the most physical mixtapes during the early 90’s, but the way artists and supporters interact have changed so much since then. Now it’s so much easier to interact with an artist, just as easy as it is to become one. Buckwild stands on the notion that there are no gatekeepers in today’s hip hop scene allowing for anyone to become an artist, in turn devaluing the real artistry that music holds.

As a monumental figure in contributing timeless classics for over 20 years, there is a certain element that is missing in comparison to the music from today: authenticity. Before, artists were told if they were trash, that would make them work harder at the skill and would become your next favorite rapper. In today’s music, too many people follow trends because that is what is accepted and sought after, however, it takes away from what music really is: unique.
Buckwild is working to return authenticity and uniqueness to the art of hip hop by working with artists that he feels are true to their craft. Staying true to his roots he works with wellestablished and non-established artists alike, pushing the envelope and challenging the state of hip hop today.
