Who We Are
Wealth Watchers Inc. is a HUD-certified Housing Counseling and Community Development Organization formed as a nonprofit 501(c)(3) in December of 2001. The formation of the nonprofit was a result of a series of meetings of local, financial service professionals who believed that education was the foundation for financial success as well as community and economic stability. Based in Jacksonville, Florida with services available throughout Florida and Georgia, its staff is committed to providing a cyclical approach to building wealth among citizens.

The vision of Wealth Watchers Inc. is to positively impact and be a support system for individuals and families to achieve their self-determined goals with a measure of significant control over the processes.
“On the Green” Golf Classsic
Wealth Watchers Inc. and Bent Creek Golf Course are excited to host the 2023 On the Green Golf Classic. This is an opportunity to connect the rural and the urban communities on the beautiful grounds of Bent Creek.
For many years, golf was considered an exclusive game for the elite. It has been synonymous with a certain kind of social and economic status. At one time, the course was a place meant for top executives or those with decision-making power. The game often lacked diversity. Some people of color were denied access to golf clubs across the country.
Times have changed. Trailblazers such as Bill Powell, Calvin Peete, Tiger Woods and Conan Sanders have made an impact on the sport. They helped open the door on and off the course. Now, companies like Wealth Watchers Inc. are at the table making decisions and breaking barriers.

Conan L. Sanders is a golf professional who has seen success playing on the Sunbelt Senior Tour and various other Senior Mini Tours. His winnings and high-placement tournaments are scattered throughout Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Florida, Mississippi and abroad. He has maintained a scratch or near-scratch golf handicap for many years.
Sanders currently serves as an instructor and coach with NIKE Leadership Camps. He conducts group clinics in various U.S. cities for novice Junior golfers (13 – 18 years old). He is also an instructor and trainer at First Tee of Augusta. He serves as a consultant and golf coach for the Kingdom City Church and the Pillars Club.
Sanders has parlayed his expertise and winning personality into conducting workshops with the Tiger Woods Golf Clinics. He assisted the Tiger Woods Foundation providing expert guidance and instruction to junior golfers on the fundamentals of the game, rules and etiquette as well as many other valuable golf and life-related subjects.
CONAN SANDERS
Education is important to Sanders. He attended Paine College as part of the Fast Track Teacher Certification Program for mathematics. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering/Mathematics from Prairie View A&M College; a master’s from the University of Northern Colorado and a master’s in Business Management from Boston University. Sanders also successfully participated in the First Tee Phase II Training and passed the PGA Player Aptitude in Valdosta, Georgia.
As a head golf professional, Sanders has served the Richmond County Recreational Department at the Augusta Municipal Golf Course. He assisted the manager in the day-to-day operations and office management at the golf course. For the First Tee of Augusta, he has conducted classes, workshops, clinics and operations. Sanders, a United States veteran, participated on the All-Army Golf Team where he played with and instructed comrades. He also had the distinct honor of becoming a Senior All Service Champion and was the first African American golfer to participate in the VOLVO International Tournament.

The C.O.F.F.E.E. Project
The C.O.F.F.E.E. Project, a workforce development and construction trade training program, is designed for outof-school youth and young adults (ages 16 – 24) who seek to gain leadership skills, workforce preparedness and construction trade training while earning an income that will improve their quality of life. This program helps young people achieve their financial goals through education and training. It is open to individuals who reside in Duval, Baker, Clay, Putnam, St. Johns and Nassau Counties. “On the Green” will support various Wealth Watchers programs such as the C.O.F.F.E.E. Project.

Live Scoring
In an effort to enhance the golf experience, Wealth Watchers Inc. is partnering with local Jacksonville company, LeaderboardKing, to provide our golfers and spectators live hole-by-hole scoring. Scorecard access is made easy by scanning a QR code. Golfers will not need to download an app. The public will also be able to follow the scores live via the link on the Weath Watchers website.
