FACULTY RECOGNITION

DR. KRISTEN CROSSNEY, PUBLIC POLICY & ADMINISTRATION Dr. Kristen Crossney, associate professor of public policy and administration, was a presenter at the Commonwealth Housing Forum, entitled “Come Together” in the session on “Housing in Rural Pennsylvania – An Ongoing Challenge”. Dr. Crossney presented findings from her 2018 research paper “Changes in Homeownership in Pennsylvania’s Rural Municipalities.” DR. JOHNNA CAPITANO, MANAGEMENT Dr. Johnna Capitano, assistant professor of management, along with Dr. Kristie McAlpine (Rutgers University) and Dr. Jeffrey Greenhaus (Drexel University), are having a chapter titled “Organizational influences on work-home boundary permeability” published in July in Research in Personnel and Human Resources Management. DR. KELLY FISHER & DR. VICKY KATSIOLOUDES, MANAGEMENT Dr. Kelly Fisher and Dr. Vicky Katsioloudes, assistant professors of management, presented to the Senior Leadership Council of the Great West Chester Chamber of Commerce on attracting, retaining, and developing talent. WCU President Dr. Christopher Fiorentino was in the audience. DR. KEVIN FLYNN & DR. SEAN ANDRE, ACCOUNTING This past February, West Chester accounting alumni Alex K. Masciantonio, a tax manager with Gunnip & Company LLP in Wilmington, Del., along with accounting professors Dr. Kevin Flynn and Dr. Sean Andre had an article “The Countinuing State Tax Effects of Section 965 and GILTI” published in the Pennsylvania CPA Journal. DR. LI LU, MANAGEMENT Dr. Li Lu, assistant professor of management, was awarded a grant from the U.S. Department of the Army for her plan to collaborate with faculty members from the University of Delaware on a research project aimed to develop an innovative approach to study team composition on team effectiveness.
