IT’S ALL ABOUT LEARNING For 55 years, Collegiate has offered amazing experiences for our students. These experiences can happen in the classroom, on the stage, in athletic competitions, or in a one-on-one encounter in the Quad. These learning experiences can come from a teacher, from a textbook, from a computer, or from a friend. All these experiences have one thing in common: a curious learner and a source of knowledge. Teaching is our method at Collegiate, but student learning is our goal. We want every student to be a curious learner, to explore the possibilities of the unknown, and to apply that learning in a meaningful, life-changing way.

One of the best features about our school is our single campus with students of all ages. Literally, from the 2-year-olds to the 18-year-olds, children of families who place a premium on education grace our halls and campus. Our multi-age, single campus also provides us with many opportunities for multiage interaction. Our traditions and intentions support times for students to be together, to learn together. Our annual AllSchool Picnic Day brings us together across divisions and across ages as our older students learn responsibility as they take care of hosting younger students for the afternoon. Our sixthgrade students visit Lower School students routinely to help them learn their math facts. Our chess club, dance clinics, and musicals all promote togetherness and learning from each other. We do not allow physical walls and structural protocol to be barriers to interaction across our campus. We promote the skills of collaboration and cooperation and learning together. That is what we are all about. To paraphrase Vince Lombardi,
