The Williamson County Community Band is an all-volunteer band of amateur and seasoned musicians. This inter-generational group features approximately 60 musicians ranging in age from pre-teen to upper 80’s and is made up of all skill levels. Everyone is welcome to pick up their instrument and join the band. Started in 2000, this band has grown and gained musical recognition and acclaim over the years throughout Williamson County and the surrounding mid-state area. Averaging seven concerts a year, they perform free indoor and outdoor concerts for the community at various venues and parks, including The Factory, Aspen Grove, Westhaven, the Brentwood Library, Crockett Amphitheatre and the Schermerhorn Symphony Center. For information on joining the band, contact director Randy Frame at rlf1950@bellsouth.net If you’d like to schedule a concert, please contact Victoria Reed at Victoria.Reed@williamsoncounty-tn.gov or call (615) 786-0186 ext. 2515.

The Williamson County Community Chorus is back for 2022! Formed in 2017, the chorus is open for older teens, adults and seniors from the Middle Tennessee area. In 2018, with just over 90 singers performing John Rutter’s Requiem for the Spring Concert, a YouTube video of the performance was discovered by a gentlemen with DCINY (Distinguished Concerts International, New York), who called the department to invite the chorus to participate in a performance of Requiem at Carnegie Hall in New York in January of 2020. The Williamson County Community Chorus holds open auditions for adults and seniors each January and August for its Spring and Fall seasons each year and always welcomes new singers. Rehearsals are on Tuesday evenings from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at the Williamson County Enrichment Center. The chorus is under the direction of Dr. Linda Bolding, an accomplished musician with more than twenty years of experience conducting adult choirs. Since the beginning of the choir in 2017, Bolding has brought professional excellence and experience to the Williamson County Community Chorus. Contact: Victoria Reed at Victoria.Reed@williamsoncounty-tn.gov to schedule an audition or for more information Rehearsals: Tuesday evenings from 7:00 - 9:00 PM at the Williamson County Enrichment Center Williamson County Parks and Recreation
