Homeschool Photography II for Middle and High School **Not contingent upon taking Photograph I, but familiarity with camera preferred.** What type of photography is your strong suit? Would it be portraits and weddings or do you prefer scenic landscapes or to photograph your meal? Join me and try your hand at several directions that photography can take such as: Documentary/Editorial: tell a compelling story with a photo series Art: abstract or realistic, capture one image that transcends a snapshot Portrait: family, musician, artist ... getting the right light and angle to make someone look good and reveal the heart of who they are Landscape: love to hike and travel and the great outdoors? What is the best time of day/angle/etc. to get the shot you want .... Commercial: what would it be like to create an ad? That juicy burger or the shiny car on the magazine page .... Sports/ Action: love to be in the center of the action, to stop time and powerful plays and emotion? With challenging weekly photo assignments and classroom critiques (encouraging only), students will be exposed to a variety of ways to see photography as a career and have a chance to try out just a few. Family friendly photos only, please. DSLR recommended but not required. Registration is required. Instructor: Tina Cornett Reg.
