Growing In Faith
At WU, we seek to integrate the Christian faith into every aspect of a student’s experience. We provide many faith-based opportunities and encourage students to get plugged in All students, staff, and faculty are invited to attend WU Chapel every Tuesday at 1 pm Chapel is a non-denominational service that provides the campus community with an opportunity for worship, prayer, and to hear a message rooted in scripture by a variety of inspiring speakers. On Sunday nights at 8 PM, many of our students enjoy participating in Upper Room, a student-led time of worship and testimony. For Roman Catholic students, a weekly Mass is held at 7 PM on Sunday evenings at St Ann’s, a local parish located nearby to campus For those who are interested in additional faith-based activities such as the Fellowship of Christian Athletes, Delight Women’s Ministry, the Jubilee Conference, ministry retreat, and on-campus Bible studies, check out the Faith Tab on myConnect. In addition, you can learn more about ministry opportunities during the Organization Open House or by stopping in the Center for Campus Ministry on the first floor of the Stover Campus Center. If you have any questions, you are welcome to contact University Chaplain, Dr Joshua Sumpter at jdsumpte@waynesburgedu or the Coordinator of Campus Ministry, Becky Juliano at Rebeccajuliano@waynesburgedu

Math Placement Exam
We’re so excited to welcome you to Waynesburg University this fall! If you have not already done so, there’s an important step we need you to take completing the online math placement assessment.
Here’s what you need to know:
·You should have already received an email invitation to join our Math Placement Canvas Course, where you can access the assessment You can also go directly to the website here: Math Placement Canvas Course
The Canvas page has everything you need, including details about the Initial Math Placement Assessment, review topics, and contact information for extra help.
·When you take the assessment, a lockdown browser will launch automatically—no extra setup needed.
·Honesty is key! This assessment helps us place you in the right math course If you get outside help, you might end up in a class that’s too challenging, which could affect your grades The assessment isn’t graded it’s just a way to see what you already know
Please check out the Canvas page now so you can get started! Do note that your tentative Fall schedule could change due to the results; as such, the earlier you take the exam, the sooner you can get into the appropriate/preferred courses.
Important: If you’re transferring a college-level math course or have earned AP math credit, email Brian Carr (bcarr@wayneburg.edu) to see if you still need to take the assessment. Be sure to send an official transcript or score report for credit approval.
