OMC Awards

The Hairdressing Council are proud members of OMC. OMC is the global organisation that has members in 55 countries across 5 continents. It provides training and opportunities within the industry to become World Championship winners in all aspects of Hair & Aesthetics.

In 2020 Gianni Fodera was appointed the new OMC President of the organisation. Salvatore Fodera is CEO & President of OMC Hairworld.

During 2020 Wayne Lloyd (Team Ireland Competitor) entered the OMC Global Stylist Award and was one of the 10 1st place winners of the competition. - Congratulations

Maeve O’Healy-Harte (OMC Honorary Western Europe President) was awarded the OMC Life Achievement Award in recognition of her contribution to the hairdressing profession.

Naramon O’ Gara (Team Ireland Competitor) achieved our highest placings of 6th and 8th place in the first OMC on-line World Championships which had over 2000 competitors.
