BRICKYARD GALLERY Brickyard is housed in a historic brick schoolhouse, just south of Shell Lake. This gallery features a variety of art created by the owner and other local artists. The charming schoolhouse and incredible art make this a “must stop”.
SHELL LAKE MOSAICS As you wander around the beautiful lakefront community of Shell Lake, you’ll want to take a look at the stunning murals around town. A mural walk brochure is available.
ART & CRAFT FAIRS You can’t get much closer to great art than at one of the local arts & craft fairs. What’s so great about an art fair? Not only do you get to view and purchase amazing pieces, but likely you’ll be able to meet the artists themselves.
SPOONER MURAL In Spooner stands a mural where for more than 80 years a two-story wooden building stood. The mural depicts the Corner Tavern and the redhead in the front is one of the owners, Aggie, commonly referred to as “that redhead.”
DOWNTOWN SPOONER GALLERIES Several art galleries call downtown Spooner their home. As you’re wandering through the galleries, be sure to look up at the ceiling as many of the original tin ceilings have been exposed and they are truly a work of art!
