Come help celebrate the festival’s thirtieth anniversary! We hope you’ll enjoy the festival which is fun for the whole family. Warwick will welcome an estimated 30,000 visitors to the 30th annual Applefest on Sunday, October 14, from 9am to 5pm in the Village of Warwick. Join us at the 30th anniversary of this great community festival, with hundreds of craft and food vendors, free music on several stages, a farmers’ market, apple pie baking and eating contests, and more! Family-friendly children’s activities in Stanley-Deming Park will include kiddie carnival rides and games, kids’ activities and food concessions. The “Pre-Applefest Kids Karnival”days are on Friday, October 12 from 4pm to 9pm; Saturday, October 13 from 11am to October 2 “Expresso” Business Mixer” 9pm; and during the Applefest festival on ShopRite of Warwick Sunday, October 14. The Kids Karnival 8:00am – 10:00am area will include horse and pony rides, October 5 Board of Directors Meeting and a rabbit petting area (both Sunday Mount Alverno only) from 9am to 5pm. It’s “Rain or 8:00am – 9:00am Shine” with free admission and lots of October 14 30th Annual Warwick Applefest great family fun! Produced by the Warwick Valley Chamber of Commerce, Applefest is a major fundraiser. The much-needed proceeds from the event are used for town-wide community projects for some forty nonprofit organizations that participate in the annual festival. The Applefest 2018 Visitors’ Guide, with complete event information, will be posted on the Applefest website and distributed free at the event.
