OVERVIEW The focus for this publication is placed on promoting business as a mutually beneficial partnership and the editorial explores ways that this can be achieved, through joint ventures, cooperation, bilateral trade etc. The main aim of the publication is to foster closer relations between Britain and the Arab World, which equally embraces all the Arab states, a unique selling point, although the larger economies in the Gulf and elsewhere inevitably receive more attention. Furthermore, any legal, institutional and procedural changes that have an impact on business are relevant concerns and as such are given editorial coverage. The publication seek to provide market information that is of practical help to business people in the pursuit of their commercial objectives of finding new customers and identifying new opportunities.
The editorial content is focused on educating and informing readers about developments in the Arab markets, highlighting the latest projects, emerging investment opportunities and new openings for trade and the provision of services (including consultancy and technical expertise). There are no limitations to the various economic sectors that of relevant interest and worthy of editorial coverage. The emphasis is on bilateral trade and investment and, hence, equally the potential options for attracting investment into the UK from Arab investors are a key consideration. Editorial content for the publication is supplied by representatives of the Chamber’s main partners in the public and private sectors (ministries, government agencies, chambers of commerce, leading corporations), including the Chamber’s own member companies.

The Economic Focus is designed to bring together traders, investors and service providers active in doing business between the UK and the Arab World.
