Outreach & Service Learning

Waldron Mercy Academy is unwaveringly committed to fulfilling its charge of service, Mercy, and faith. This commitment extends beyond service projects; it is integrated into everything we do, and partnerships are created that last for years. Waldron Mercy students use their academic skills to think about ways to help their communities.

WMA is currently the first and only school to be honored as a Service Learning Program of Distinction by the Middle States Association.

When we expose our students to a variety of outreach opportunities, we are inviting them to make connections between what they learn in the classroom and how they live their lives in service to others. Outreach Grade Partners

Music & Performing Arts

Music Lessons:

Beginning in Pre-K, your student can take Piano, Violin & Cello, with Guitar, Drums, Woodwinds, Brass and Voice options added in the later grades. Lessons are arranged both during & after school.

All our performing arts programs are centered on the goal of giving your child the self-assurance they need to stand up in front of a crowd and let the world hear their voice. It's not that we foster great performers, but rather help your child's greatness emerge through confidence they discover by performing and learning music, acting and dance!

Lower School Musical: Stars and Stripes Theatre - Grades 2-4 perform a 45 minute full staged, choreographed and costumed production here on the Waldron stage with 70+ students each year!

Spring Musical - Students in grade 5, 6, 7, and 8 take to the Motherhouse Auditorium each year to present an hour long Broadway Jr. production. This fully staged, choreographed and costumed production features a live pit orchestra and truly allows the students to take the spotlight!

Chorale - Select choir for grades 7 and 8 to travel & perform: Worldstrides Heritage Festival, Williamsburg, New York, Boston, Montreal & more

Treblemakers - Select choir for grades 4, 5 and 6 performing on various local stages: Narberth Dickens Festival, Wells Fargo Center & more
