A community that says YES! I once heard a speaker at a conference say, “The word YES has magic within it.” I understood the point she was trying to make. Yet, I couldn’t shed the notion that magic is all about ’what you don’t see.’ To me, the word YES is all about ‘what you do see’ and the outward effect is not merely magic, but power! The kind of power that: + changes lives + guides us with creativity and love, not fear + bestows dignity and grace to those who desperately need it + provides a sense of self worth and independence to people who feel helpless + refills purpose in those who experience a void, or loss + dispels deadly silence and, instead, puts a song in our hearts + casts aside misery and lets miracles happen! This Impact Report is filled with people just like you who said YES to VNA Health and to our community last year. You acted upon what you saw with generosity and kindness and you empowered us to take care of those who might have otherwise gone unseen. We are blessed to live and work in a community that says YES. Many of you have already said a generous YES to us in 2020 as we face these unprecedented times dealing with COVID-19.
