WELCOME TO LONDON JEWELERS

DEAR FRIENDS & FAMILY

Welcome to the 2026 edition — a very special one for us, as we celebrate 100 years of craftsmanship, service, and family

Our story began in 1926, when Charles London, a self-taught watchmaker, opened a small shop in Glen Cove. With nothing but a toolbox and a deep passion for precision, he earned a reputation for winding and repairing the grand clocks of the Gold Coast. He served families like the Whitneys, Morgans, Pratts, and Vanderbilts with honesty and care — laying the foundation for what would become London Jewelers.

Years later, Charles’s daughter Fran and her husband, Mayer Udell, carried on that legacy. Fran had a gift for people — she remembered every face, every story, every occasion. Mayer, always working quietly behind the scenes, made sure every piece met the highest standards. Together, they turned that tiny workshop into a beloved neighborhood jeweler, rooted in kindness, integrity, and a deep dedication to quality. Their son Mark grew up in the business, with an entrepreneurial spirit from the start. His favorite toy as a child was a miniature cash register, and his lemonade stand had the best location on the block — complete with drawers and signage. After earning a business degree in Miami, Mark worked for luxury jeweler Mayors, where he took detailed notes after each shift, studying what made great retail experiences truly exceptional.

From there, the vision expanded. Mark and Candy grew the business thoughtfully, opening new stores in Wheatley Plaza, Americana Manhasset, East Hampton, Southampton, and The Mall at Short Hills. Along the way, they built relationships with some of the world’s most iconic brands — Rolex, Patek Philippe, Cartier, Van Cleef & Arpels, Bvlgari, David Yurman, Vacheron Constantin, Panerai, and more. They introduced curated watch salons, designer showcases, and luxury experiences that elevated the way people shop for fine jewelry and timepieces. But through it all, the business remained deeply personal — always family-first, always customer-centered.

Today, a century since our founding, the fourth generation — Randi Udell-Alper, Scott Udell, and Zachary Udell — is helping guide the next chapter. And while much has changed over 100 years, our core values remain the same: family, trust, integrity, and making every customer feel seen, valued, and celebrated.

In 1973, newly married to Candy and full of fresh ideas, Mark returned home to join the family business. But he didn’t just want to continue the legacy — he wanted to reimagine it. One of his first goals was to bring Rolex to Long Island. Convincing a world-renowned brand to partner with a small, family-owned shop took two years of persistence. But the day the first delivery arrived, a longtime client walked in and purchased a gold Rolex President. That moment marked a turning point — not just for London Jewelers, but for luxury retail on Long Island.

This year, we’re honored to feature Christie Brinkley and her daughter, Sailor Brinkley Cook, on our magazine cover. Their radiant energy, closeness, and shared spirit reflect the

generational values we hold dear — legacy, love, and connection.

At Americana Manhasset, you can now visit our brand-new Rolex Experience, located next to our Watch Salon, which is currently undergoing a full renovation that includes the addition of a third floor, an entertaining space, and an outdoor area. While we transform that space, you’ll find us right next to Cipollini at the Americana. The stunning new 2,179-square-foot Rolex boutique marks an exciting new chapter in our long-standing partnership with the brand. Designed to offer a refined and immersive experience, the space reflects the iconic Rolex aesthetic — meticulously crafted to embody the brand’s core values of excellence, precision, and timeless elegance.

We’re also proud to share other exciting milestones. We recently opened a beautiful Rolex Boutique in East Hampton, located inside a historic cedar-shingled home that has served the community for over a century. The space blends heritage and elegance, offering an intimate coastal setting for clients to explore the world of Rolex in a meaningful and memorable way.

We’ve recently completed a full renovation of our London Jewelers Southampton location, where we’ve proudly served the community for

over 25 years. The updated space brings fresh energy and expanded collections to our Hamptons clientele while preserving the charm and warmth that define our presence. At our East Hampton store, we’ve also expanded the Bvlgari and Verdura branded areas, seamlessly blending them into the existing interiors. Both locations continue to evolve to better serve and inspire our customers.

At The Mall at Short Hills — New Jersey’s premier shopping destination — our 5,000-square-foot London Jewelers showroom has become a trusted destination for watch and jewelry enthusiasts. Inside, you’ll discover prestigious timepiece brands such as Patek Philippe and Tudor, alongside a fine jewelry and diamond salon featuring iconic names like Buccellati, Vhernier, and more. This location also includes our exclusive Rolex Boutique, Officine Panerai Boutique, and our newest addition: Vacheron Constantin — a legendary Swiss house founded in 1755, renowned for its exceptional craftsmanship and innovation.

People often ask if we had a master plan. The truth? Not really. We followed our instincts. We listened to our clients. And most of all, awe followed our hearts. As Candy often says, “Maybe you don’t think you have a plan, but one day you look back — at all you’ve built, at the people who stood by you — and realize you actually did have a vision all along. You just didn’t know it yet.”

We’re deeply proud of what we’ve built over the past century. But more than anything, we are grateful — to our clients who’ve trusted us with life’s most meaningful moments, to our brand partners who believed in our vision, to our extraordinary team, and to Fran and Mayer, whose wisdom and love continue to guide us every step of the way.

Here’s to the next 100 years of tradition, innovation, and creating memories that last a lifetime.

Where dreams come true.

With love and appreciation, The London Jewelers Family

MADISON COLLECTION

OPENING NEW HORIZONS

With numerous horological achievements to its name, the Oyster Perpetual Land-Dweller is designed for those shaping the world of tomorrow. Rolex begins a new chapter in its history with the Land-Dweller. Fitted with a bracelet that merges seamlessly with the Oyster case, this watch boasts a sleek, bold design and is powered by a cutting-edge movement developed especially for it.

INNOVATION IN MOVEMENT

Calibre 7135 – entirely developed and manufactured in-house – is engineered to beat at a high frequency of 5 hertz, measuring time to a tenth of a second.

FLAT JUBILEE BRACELET

Designed with an innovative architecture and primarily crafted from silicon components, this sequential distribution escapement is truly revolutionary. Very lightweight and highly resistant to shocks and magnetic fields, it offers significantly greater energy efficiency than a Swiss lever escapement.

State-of-the-art oscillator

The oscillator is resistant to strong magnetic fields, thanks to the materials from which its components are made. It features a Syloxi silicon hairspring, a balance wheel crafted from optimized brass, and a balance staff made of a new high-tech ceramic exclusive to Rolex. Optimized Paraflex shock absorbers enhance the shock resistance of the movement in any position.

A CONTEMPORARY DESIGN

With a resolutely modern touch, the Land-Dweller reinterprets the design of watches featuring integrated bracelets, with its case and bracelet melding perfectly in a smooth continuous line. This meticulously crafted aesthetic strives for perfect harmony of form and proportion.

The Land-Dweller is offered in two diameters, 36 mm and 40 mm. It is also available in a white Rolesor version or in 18 ct Everose gold, both with an intense white dial, or in 950 platinum with an ice blue dial.

Specially designed for the Land-Dweller, the Flat Jubilee bracelet is a reinterpretation of the emblematic Jubilee bracelet, unveiled at the launch of the Datejust in 1945. This new metal bracelet differs in that all the links are flat. Moreover, the centre links are polished and slightly raised in relation to the outer links. The latter feature a technical satin finish. The polished chamfered top edges of the outer links create a stream of light that continues uninterrupted along the Oyster case and forms a harmonious whole.

Honeycomb motif dial

Framed by an angled flange, this graphic dial is adorned with a honeycomb motif in subtle relief that is created using a high-technology laser. Time-honoured techniques are employed for the dial surface finishings: a fine satin finish for the intense white dial and a sunray finish on the ice blue version. On the versions with a Chromalight display, the open 6 and 9 numerals, and index hour markers with luminescent material that extends the full length of the component, grant the Land-Dweller optimal legibility in any situation.

A NEW ERA IN DIAMOND RETAIL

LONDON JEWELERS PARTNERS WITH ORIGIN DE BEERS GROUP EXCLUSIVE partnership

There’s something timeless about the moment someone chooses a diamond. It’s a symbol of love, legacy, and lasting connection. But in today’s world, beauty alone isn’t enough. People want to know where their diamond came from, how it was sourced, and what it stands for.

That’s why two trusted names in the world of fine jewelry — De Beers Group and London Jewelers — have come together to offer something extraordinary: a diamond experience built on transparency, trust, and purpose. Through this partnership, London Jewelers can now offer their clients the ORIGIN De Beers Group — a platform that delivers not only full diamond traceability, but access to some of the best-sourced, most ethically mined diamonds in the world.

“This is a natural fit,” says Mark Udell, CEO of London Jewelers. “De Beers Group has access to the most exceptional diamonds in the world, and we’ve spent generations building trust with our clients by offering a complete diamond experience.”

At the heart of this initiative is the ORIGIN De Beers Group — a visionary system that empowers customers to know exactly where their diamond comes from. Each stone is tracked from the moment it is unearthed, offering an unprecedented level of transparency through blockchain technology and digital certification.

The diamonds in the ORIGIN De Beers Group are mined from their operations in Botswana, Namibia, South Africa, and Canada — regions known not only for producing high-quality stones but also for their commitment to responsible mining practices. These mines are operated with deep respect for local communities and the environment, and the revenues they generate contribute directly to healthcare, education, and infrastructure.

“We’ve always believed that the story behind a diamond is as important as the diamond itself,” says Candy Udell, President of London Jewelers. “With ORIGIN De Beers Group, we’re not just selling beautiful jewelry — we’re offering peace of mind. These are diamonds with a conscience, and that matters to our clients.”

What makes this partnership truly unique is its use of technology to deliver a more emotional and informed experience.

This isn’t just about provenance — it’s about presence. From the

moment it’s set into a piece that may one day become a family heirloom, customers know exactly where it came from.

For London Jewelers, a family-owned institution with a century of expertise, this partnership is more than a business decision — it’s a reflection of their values.

By aligning with De Beers Group, London Jewelers is signaling a new chapter in fine jewelry — one that values not just brilliance, but substance. Today’s customers want authenticity. They want beauty, but not at the cost of ethical standards. They want to feel good about what they wear — and who they support.

“Diamonds are symbols of love, celebration, and legacy,” Candy Udell reflects. “Now, they can also be symbols of ethical progress.”

“Diamonds are symbols of love, celebration, and legacy, Now, they can also be symbols of ethical progress.”
— Candy Udell, President of London Jewelers

As this partnership unfolds, De Beers Group and London Jewelers invite clients to do more than admire a diamond’s sparkle. They invite them to understand it, trace it, and connect with it like never before.

This isn’t just a partnership. It’s a promise: that the future of luxury is transparent, traceable, and true.

A DEFINING AESTHETIC

The Santos de Cartier watch continues to evolve, embodying an iconic design that now includes a new small model. Its compact dimensions pay homage to the original versions of the watch, first created in 1904

VACHERON CONSTANTIN

OPEN FOR ADMIRATION

The open-worked dial and a retrograde display, two historical Vacheron Constantin signatures, are revisited within the Maison’s Traditionnelle collection through three 370-piece limited editions in 950 platinum.

The Traditionnelle Perpetual Calendar Retrograde Date

Openface model features a new self-winding manufacture movement, Calibre 2460 QPR31/270, equipped with two complications. The first is a perpetual calendar displaying the days, months, and leap-year cycle, requiring no correction until year 2100.

for aviator Alberto Santos-Dumont. At that time, it marked a revolutionary shift as the first modern wristwatch designed specifically to be worn on the wrist.

Over the years, the distinctive square shape and visible screws — once concealed in traditional watchmaking — became a defining aesthetic of the Santos collection.

This new small model, available in gold and steel, all-steel, or all-gold versions, remains faithful to the key design elements of the contemporary Santos de Cartier: clean lines, geometric precision, and refined detailing, all juxtaposed with the industrial character of its exposed screws.

New to this iteration, aside from its smaller 27mm x 34.5mm case size, is a sunray-effect dial and a high-autonomy quartz movement tailored to its compact dimensions.

The watch also offers versatility in wear: it comes with either a metal bracelet or a leather strap — smooth calfskin for the steel and two-tone versions, and luxurious alligator leather for the all-gold model. Each leather strap features an ardillon buckle, designed to harmonize with the slim elegance of the case.

Though smaller in scale, the new size of the Santos de Cartier leaves a lasting impression — a true testament to Cartier’s legacy of timeless innovation.

These indications are complemented by the moon phases in an aperture at 6 o’clock, accurately tracking the moon’s actual cycle of 29 days, 12 hours, and 45 minutes. The second complication is a retrograde date display in the upper part of the dial. Further, to enhance the airy appearance of this slim calibre — while ensuring the legibility of the time indications — the sapphire discs with the day, month, and leap-year markings are set against a deep blue background.

The Traditionnelle Tourbillon Retrograde Date Openface watch is powered by the self-winding Calibre 2162 R31/270, a 242-component manufacture movement with a 72-hour power reserve. It also combines a tourbillon at 6 o’clock with a retrograde date whose intricate workings can be seen through the upper part of the open-worked dial.

Finally, the Traditionnelle Complete Calendar Openface model uses the manufacture Calibre 2460 QCL/270: a more modern version of the Calibre 2450, which was the first self-winding iteration of the complete calendar entirely designed and developed in-house. The open-worked dial reveals part of the 312-component self-winding mechanism. Last but not least, the Maison’s watchmakers and designers have chosen to display the date around the periphery of the dial using a blued hand, while the day and month are marked on sapphire discs and contrast with the blue background of the apertures. These watches are a true reflection of the Maison’s unparalleled watchmaking expertise.

CHANEL

THE ALLURE OF COUTURE

With PREMIÈRE GALON, the PREMIÈRE watch reimagines the couture braid — one of CHANEL’s signature elements since founder Gabrielle Chanel first adorned her suits with braided trims to highlight edges, decorate pockets and waists, and define the silhouette.

Introduced in 1987 as the House’s first watch creation, the PREMIÈRE Édition Originale broke free from traditional masculine codes by embracing the octagonal shape inspired by the N°5 perfume bottle stopper and incorporating a leather chain bracelet reminiscent of the iconic quilted bag. Instantly, it became a reference in the world of watchmaking and has retained its timeless allure ever since.

Today, the PREMIÈRE GALON draws inspiration from the CHANEL wardrobe with an 18k yellow-gold bangle bracelet crafted as a twisted braid, perfectly complementing the purity of its black lacquered dial — strikingly minimalist, with no indicators. The watch is further distinguished by an 18k yellow-gold crown set with onyx. For added brilliance, the PREMIÈRE GALON is also available in two versions adorned with diamonds.

Available in S, M, L, and XL, the PREMIÈRE GALON features a highprecision quartz movement, is water-resistant up to 30 meters, and displays both hours and minutes — all while maintaining its unmistakably couture spirit.

TUDOR ESCAPE TO THE BLUE

Wearing a TUDOR watch is more than an aesthetic choice — it’s a sensory experience, a passport to another place and time. And with the new Black Bay 54 “Lagoon Blue,” that place feels sun-kissed, serene, and deeply blue. Imagine warm breezes, the sound of waves brushing against a shellspeckled white-sand shore, and the glint of turquoise water — all wrapped around your wrist.

At 37mm, the Black Bay 54 offers a vintage-perfect case size that flatters the wrist with a subtle presence. But it’s the details that truly transport. The Lagoon Blue dial, with its gentle, sandtextured finish, evokes the ocean floor beneath calm waters. The mirror-polished bezel adds a refined shimmer, catching light like the sun off a tide pool. Then come the signature “Snowflake” hands — a TUDOR hallmark since 1969 — now updated with a pinched base and filled with Grade A Swiss Super-LumiNova® for uncompromising legibility, day or night.

Underneath, the Manufacture Calibre MT5400 powers this beauty. COSC-certified, with a silicon balance spring and a robust 70-hour power reserve, it’s a movement built for adventure and ease. Laser-decorated bridges and a combination of polished and sand-blasted finishes underscore TUDOR’s commitment to craftsmanship and performance.

Completing the experience is the five-link, polished and satinbrushed steel bracelet. It hugs the wrist like a familiar hammock stretched between two palm trees — relaxed, balanced, and just

right. Thanks to the TUDOR “T-fit” clasp, adjusting the fit on the fly is effortless, whether you’re poolside or on the move.

With its dreamy hues and refined build, the Black Bay 54 “Lagoon Blue” captures the essence of summer — yet it’s made to be worn year-round. From coastal getaways to everyday city life, it’s a reminder that paradise is never too far away.

Finally, the PAM01574 comes with an elegant blue alligator strap, as well as a more casual blue rubber strap. Both straps and the buckle are equipped with the PAM Click Release System, which requires no tool for easy switching between each strap option to ensure versatility.

Practical for everyday use yet supremely stylish, the PAM01574 is the essence of Panerai.

Vhernier handcrafts its innovative design-forward jewelry entirely in Italy, embodying the essence of Milanese elegance. Drawing inspiration from modern sculpture and the curves of the human body, the Maison creates beauty through simplicity. VAN CLEEF & ARPELS ENCHANTED WATCHES

Each timepiece is a vibrant celebration of nature, featuring sun-kissed berries sculpted in façonné enamel, their full, luscious curves encased in ornate, rounded cases. Surrounding the fruits, finely painted foliage emerges, set against textured gold backgrounds that evoke an enchanting woodland scene.

Gracing these miniature landscapes are two graceful fairies — sculpted in rose or white gold — whose diamond-set wings shimmer as they play with the passage of time. Encircling the case, radiant diamonds echo the fairies’ sparkle, while the case backs are adorned with delicate engravings: a ladybug for Myrtille — subtle nods to nature’s charming details.

Part of the Extraordinary Dials collection, these watches are the result of a harmonious collaboration between enamellers, engravers, lapidaries, miniature painters, stone-setters, and watchmakers. Each dial is a poetic tableau requiring up to 300 hours of meticulous artistry.

Combining techniques such as engraving on gold and mother-of-pearl, façonné, paillonné, or grisaille enamel, along with marquetry and gem setting, Van Cleef & Arpels transforms each timepiece into a wearable masterpiece. It is a symphony of craftsmanship and imagination — where nature, artistry, and time converge in a singular moment of enchantment.

very so often, nature reveals a creation so rare it leaves you breathless. Such is the case with this 6.12-carat Fancy Green-Blue diamond, a gem of astonishing beauty, steeped in quiet magic and rarity.

To appreciate its significance: Nearly 98% of diamonds with this unique green-blue hue are far smaller. A diamond with this precise size, color intensity, clarity, and shape may appear only once in a decade. Experts estimate that just one in 20 million will ever display this extraordinary combination of qualities.

Its ethereal hue was shaped by the Earth itself, formed over millions of years through radiation, heat, and pressure deep below the surface. This extraordinary transformation forever altered the diamond at its core, leaving it with a mesmerizing, otherworldly glow.

At Rahaminov Diamonds, the belief is that a diamond should be more than brilliant. It should tell a story, stir emotion, and inspire wonder. With this stone, the vision was not only to celebrate its rarity, but to honor its journey and the natural forces that shaped it.

This extraordinary diamond is brought to life in a design as rare as the gem itself. A halo of delicate pink diamond melee frames the centerpiece, while two GIA-certified Fancy Intense Pink trillion-cut diamonds flank either side chosen not only for their rarity, but for the way their hue amplifies the central diamond’s glow. Crafted in platinum and 18k rose gold, the setting balances strength with softness, allowing the colors to radiate in perfect harmony.

Gems like this are not simply admired; they are cherished. And in the hands of Rahaminov Diamonds, they are given the reverence they deserve.

This is more than a jewel. It is Rahaminov Diamonds’ tribute to nature’s quiet brilliance — crafted with devotion, and destined to last a lifetime.

BUCCELLATI HEAR THIS

Buccellati is reasserting its ability to translate even the most essential of forms into timeless, distinctive pieces of fine jewelry by introducing hoop earrings to enrich four of its most emblematic collections: Rombi, Macri, Étoilée, and Tulle. These unique creations combine the finest in goldsmithing and craftsmanship.

In every version, the hoop earrings reflect the hallmark of the Maison, which reinterprets the essential form using established, recognizable aesthetic codes. For the Rombi collection, the circle is animated by the line’s iconic geometric motif: small rhombi adorned with diamonds, framed by a fan-shaped edge with fine engraving and modellato work. The color variations range from white-gold to white and yellow-gold combinations, which are effortlessly in step with Buccellati’s stylistic language.

VERDURA ICONOCLASTIC DESIGN

One hundred years ago in Venice, the future Broadway impresario and composer Cole Porter introduced his close friend, the Sicilian Duke Fulco di Verdura, to the young Gabrielle “Coco” Chanel. The meeting proved catalytic. Verdura began working for Coco and she soon recognized his eye for line and color in jewelry. Encouraging him to design a new, more casual style, he broke the rules of popular style, departing from Art Deco and setting colorful gemstones into rich yellow gold reminiscent of Byzantine mosaics. It was an iconoclastic departure that changed jewelry design forever.

The Macri Classica earrings retain the spirit of the collection, which is celebrated both for the purity of its lines and the art of hand engraving. On the engraved rigato surface, diamonds appear to dot the structure and are embellished by engraved ornato motifs that delicately frame the settings. Variations are available in yellow, white, or rose gold.

Completing the new offering are the Étoilée and Tulle models, both of which showcase some of the Maison’s most iconic techniques. The first is thinner and lighter, whereas the second showcases the Maison’s unmistakable honeycomb workmanship. The color codes in both models follow those of their respective collections: yellow and white gold for Étoilée, exclusively white gold for Tulle.

Cole Porter brought Verdura to America in 1934, introducing him to his Hollywood friends. In 1939, Porter — joined by financier

Vincent Astor — advanced Verdura the funds to open his own New York salon. The two men shared more than friendship; they shared a devotion to history, astronomy, and the arts. When Porter’s 1932 song “Night and Day” became a phenomenon, Verdura surprised his friend with a gift of cufflinks reflecting the day and night skies. From those jewels grew one of the House’s most enduring designs, reimagined over the decades as earclips, stackable bangles, cocktail rings, and a lariat necklace.

A Verdura classic.

A testament to friendship, artistry, and imagination, Verdura’s Night and Day continues to inspire today.

Vintage jewelry has made a powerful comeback, and London Jewelers is embracing this revival in a big way. Randi Udell-Alper says, “As we approach 100 years in the jewelry and watch business started by my great-grandfather, returning to vintage isn’t just a trend — it’s a homecoming for us at London Jewelers.”

Vintage jewelry speaks to the timelessness that built their foundation: craftsmanship, character, and the heritage of lasting style. These pieces are more than beautiful accessories — they are a path through history, reminding us of where we began. At a time when every detail mattered, jewelry was created to hold memories across generations.

London Jewelers offers a carefully curated assortment of vintage pieces, showcasing the rich variety and artistry of different eras — from stunning Art Deco designs to mid-century statement necklaces and beyond. Each item is thoughtfully selected to allow customers to find treasures that resonate personally and stylistically.

For nearly a century, London Jewelers has seen the cycles of fashion come and go. Yet everything comes back again in due time. Vintage jewelry carries the artistry and spirit of a bygone era, inviting wearers to connect with history while making a modern style statement.

At London Jewelers, vintage is not just about style — it’s about honoring the values passed down from generation to generation. This resurgence connects the past with the present, reminding us that quality, beauty, and storytelling never go out of style.

As vintage jewelry shines once more in the spotlight, London Jewelers proudly celebrates the craftsmanship and timeless appeal that have defined their legacy. It’s a homecoming that celebrates history and enduring elegance.

THE STORYTELLER

A PIECE TO REMEMBER

In a world filled with noise, speed, and more “stuff” than we know what to do with, true luxury isn’t in quantity. It’s in moments. It’s in the way an object quietly holds a memory.

In my work, I often talk about designing a life lived with intention. One that fills you with stories to tell, the kind that quietly transforms you into the most interesting person in the room. And jewelry, otherwise known as a keepsake,

heartbroken. Secretly, my husband took it out of my nightstand and sent it to London Jewelers to have it remade in real gold with diamond eyes. A stunner! Beyond the fact that I get compliments on it all the time, it’s one of my most prized pieces because of the story I get to tell when someone notices it.

has the power to hold one’s stories. I’ll start! My husband surprised me with a last-minute trip. No context, no details, just a box with a pair of diamond-studded earrings and a card that said, “To the many places you shall sparkle. Pack your bags.” I wore those earrings 100% of the time on that trip. On the plane. In elevator lighting. At a candlelight dinner overlooking the sea. On a quiet walk through a cobblestoned village at sunset. And every time I wear them now, it takes me right back there. Not just to the place, but in the feeling. The spontaneity. The joy. The love.

Then, there are pieces that don’t yet have a story to tell, but each one holds the infinite potential of becoming one. And that is just as exciting. Take, for example, that necklace you throw on for a night out, the one you gravitate towards. It may not have a profound meaning to you or an amazing story to go with it, but here’s the thing: the story may not be for you. It may be for the next generation, and that little girl in the corner

“Jewelry is one of the rare things that can become an heirloom. These pieces don’t just say something about our taste. They tell the story of who we were, where we went, and what we loved.”

One of my favorite necklaces is Alexander McQueen-esque skulls by the yard that I bought for $10 on the street at the San Gennaro Festival in New York City. I was in my 20s, fresh out of college, and I wore it regularly for nearly a decade. When it finally broke, I was

watching her mom get ready for a night out. Years from now, when she wears that necklace, she will tell the tale of how beautiful you were.

Taking a page from Patek Philippe’s playbook, ‘Perhaps you never actually own a piece of jewelry. You merely look after it for the next generation.’

This is the magic of a piece that becomes part of your life’s fabric.

Jewelry is one of the rare things that can become an heirloom. These pieces don’t just say something about our taste. They tell the story of who we were, where we went, and what we loved.

So the next time you’re choosing something for yourself or someone you love, think beyond the moment. Think about the memory it will hold, because

the most interesting person in any room is not the best dressed, but the person with the most interesting stories to tell. Make yours count.

THE LEGACY LIVES ON

Athird-generation member of the famous Bulgari family of jewelers, Marina Bulgari was one of the most influential women in 20th-century jewelry design. In 1976, driven by ambition and a desire to forge her own path, she left her family’s iconic Maison to found Marina B, where she pioneered gemstone cuts and reimagined traditional forms, setting new standards of creativity and craftsmanship.

Today, Guy Bedarida, Creative Director and Chairman of Marina B, continues to honor Marina’s legacy by blending innovation with the enduring elegance that defined her work.

“As an Italian myself, there was a natural affinity between myself and the company,” he says. “But it is really Marina B’s legacy of high jewelry, of glamour, of color that makes it the jewel I had to have for myself. It’s not only the history of technical excellence married to the most daring and exuberant designs — but the designs that are a pleasure to both see and wear that makes this a story that I am eager to continue.”

The relentless pursuit of innovation and the solution of insoluble design problems will continue to be the core mission. So is changing how and where and why women wear their jewels. Lately, the brand has introduced more color and gemstones into their Trisolina and Ondine collections, as well as adding a touch of New York chic to the Trisola line by creating the pieces in gunmetal colored titanium enlivened by Marina’s signature 18k yellow-gold. The company has also noticed that bold rings for every day are much sought after by their clients, and will be expanding their already substantial offerings in that genre. VISIT LONDON

MESSIKA

AN INSTINCT TO TRANSFORM

Inspired by the mineral shimmer of the Kalahari or the fiery dunes of the Namib, each creation in Terres d’Instinct, Valérie Messika’s new High Jewelry collection inspired by Namibia, Botswana, and South Africa, pushes the boundaries of emotion and expression.

Bold shapes, layered volumes, graphic contrasts, and chiseled light define this 20th anniversary collection, where gold and diamonds engage with unprecedented textures and finishes. Sharp incisions, stylized zebra stripes, and organic motifs compose a free-flowing script between primal landscapes and untamed strength. With 16 original sets, this first chapter of Terres d’Instinct is a manifesto of liberated style.

Among its many masterpieces, The Kalahara necklace stands out with two exceptional yellow diamonds, including a near35-carat gem. A feat of both setting and modular design, the necklace transforms into four distinct styles: a triple-row plastron, a double-row piece, a choker, or a pendant-centered necklace.

With Terres d’Instinct, Valérie Messika ventures for the first time into the realm of colored gemstones, including sapphires, rubies, emeralds, spinels, garnets, onyx, and more. These gemstones capture the vibrant nuances of Africa: the burning embers of a Kalahari sunset, the lush green of hidden oases, the turquoise shimmer of exotic plumage. A crowning moment in this evolution is the 30-carat Zambian emerald that reimagines the Divine Enigma set.

Throughout the collection, diamond light weaves the story. Enhanced by diverse setting techniques — bezel, snow, halo — and cuts ranging from cushion and baguette to heart, each creation showcases the Maison’s creative spirit of innovation, its legendary craftsmanship, and its singular family legacy.

GILDED THEN, GOLDEN NOW

Long Island’s Gold Coast has always had a special kind of charm. In the early 1900s, this stretch of the North Shore was home to some of America’s most extraordinary estates — grand homes built by families like the Vanderbilts, Whitneys, Morgans, and Pratts. Many of those estates still stand today, a lasting reminder of just how unique this part of Long Island really is.

These estates were worlds of their own. Many had dozens of rooms, private ballrooms, manicured gardens, and entire staffs to keep them running. The Gold Coast was where wealth and grandeur set the

standard. It’s easy to see why this world inspired F. Scott Fitzgerald’s The Great Gatsby. The lavish parties and grand waterfront views in the novel came straight from the life he saw here. Even now, that Gatsby magic hasn’t gone anywhere.

Into this world arrived Charles London, a young Polish immigrant and a self-taught watchmaker armed with nothing but skill, determination, and a dream. He spent his days traveling from mansion to mansion, tending to the intricate timepieces that kept these grand households running. Some estates boasted 50 rooms and just as many clocks, and every week, Charles would make his rounds — room by room — winding each eightday clock by hand. The work was exhausting and precise, but it earned him a reputation as a man who never cut corners and won the trust of the Gold Coast elite.

In 1926, Charles turned all that hard work into something lasting when he opened a small shop on School Street in Glen Cove. It wasn’t fancy, just a single storefront with clocks, watches, and jewelry, but it was built on his steady hands and unwavering commitment to doing things right. That shop became the beginning of London Jewelers, and in 2026, we celebrate 100 years of the same values Charles started with: dedication, integrity, and true craftsmanship.

Today, the Gold Coast is as beautiful as ever, where history and elegance live side by side. For London Jewelers, it’s more than just the backdrop to our story; it’s where Charles London built his American Dream, one clock at a time. And 100 years later, that dream is still ticking.

ILONDON JEWELERS APPROACHES 100 YEARS:

A Legacy of Family, Craftsmanship, and NATURAL DIAMONDS

n 1926, a European watchmaker named Charles London opened a small storefront in Glen Cove, Long Island. Nearly a century later, that single shop has evolved into a family-run luxury empire and one of the most respected names in fine jewelry across Long Island and New Jersey.

As the iconic jeweler approaches its 100-year anniversary in 2026, the London family remains focused on what has always mattered most: trust, legacy, customers, and celebrating life’s most meaningful moments with natural diamonds.

“Natural diamonds are timeless symbols of love and legacy, which perfectly mirrors our own values as a family-owned business passed down through generations. They’re rare, authentic, and enduring — just like the relationships we build with our clients,” says Candy Udell, President of London Jewelers.

Trust has always been the foundation of the business. From one-onone consultations with GIA-certified gemologists to deeply personalized in-store experiences, every touchpoint honors the past while shaping the future. Clients aren’t just customers; they’re welcomed as part of the London Jewelers family.

While the jewelry industry has transformed dramatically since 1926, ushering in new technologies and shifting expectations, London Jewelers has embraced change without losing its core values. From custom design capabilities to digital tools, they continue to offer the expert guidance that has defined the business for nearly a century.

At the heart of it all is their dedication to natural diamonds. London Jewelers doesn’t just sell jewelry — they offer heirlooms in the making. Natural diamonds are not only rare and beautiful but deeply meaningful. They

believe in the power of something real, something formed over billions of years, to mark moments that matter.

That belief extends beyond the showroom. London Jewelers works exclusively with partners who meet the highest standards for ethical and environmental responsibility and supports brands that prioritize transparency. Their collaboration with the Natural Diamond Council promotes education, sustainability, and the enduring value of natural diamonds. In 2024, they received the Diamond Do Good’s Community Impact Award for their long-standing commitment to philanthropy and community.

Younger generations, increasingly interested in traceability and purpose-driven purchases, are shaping the future, and London Jewelers welcomes it. Clients today care deeply about where their jewelry comes from and how it was made. For London Jewelers, it’s a chance to build even deeper trust.

Each of their stores, from Americana Manhasset and the Hamptons to The Mall at Short Hills, serves as a luxury destination. Designed with elegance and warmth, the spaces reflect tradition, family, and celebration.

“Natural diamonds are rare, authentic, and enduring — just like the relationships we build with our clients.”
— CANDY UDELL, PRESIDENT OF LONDON JEWELERS

As they look toward their second century, the family shows no signs of slowing down. Expansion, customization, and generational storytelling are all part of the plan.

“We hope to continue being the trusted destination where generations of families come to celebrate life’s milestones. Our legacy is not just about jewelry — it’s about memories, trust, and craftsmanship. In the natural diamond space, we aim to lead with integrity, education, and a deep appreciation for the art and science behind every stone,” says Udell. — By Shelley Brown, Natural Diamond Council

CHRISTIE BRINKLEY

A Life in Full Bloom

At 71, Christie Brinkley is not simply reflecting on her past — she’s reframing it entirely. With the release of her memoir Uptown Girl in April 2025, the iconic supermodel invites readers behind the curtain of a life long admired, often misunderstood, and relentlessly lived on her own terms. Published by Harper Influence, the book is already a New York Times bestseller, and with good reason: it’s a raw, radiant, and remarkably human portrait of a woman whose public image was only the surface of a much deeper story.

Brinkley’s discovery as a young art student in Paris might sound like a fairytale, but the journey that followed was far more complex. She burst onto the modeling scene in the 1970s, quickly becoming the first woman to grace the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue cover three years in a row — 1979, 1980, and 1981 — cementing her place as an American beauty icon. But Uptown Girl isn’t a book about modeling — it’s about resilience. Brinkley writes candidly about her childhood wounds, including betrayal by her biological father, and how those early emotional rifts shaped her outlook on life and love.

The memoir touches on the most high-profile chapters of her life — her marriage to Billy Joel and the inspiration behind the song “Uptown Girl,” her whirlwind rise in fashion and film, and the often-painful unraveling of four marriages. Yet for every heartbreak, there is a triumphant turn. Brinkley reveals how she turned personal adversity into a lifelong mission for joy, purpose, and reinvention. Her unwavering belief in the magic of life, even through trauma and tragedy, is the book’s true heartbeat.

Christie Brinkley’s post-modeling years have been no less dazzling — or impactful. She’s parlayed her fame into powerful ventures across industries: a successful Broadway debut as Roxie Hart in Chicago starring roles in Parks and Recreation and Celebrity Autobiography, a thriving organic Prosecco brand, Bellissima, and the inclusive lifestyle brand Towerhill. In 2024, she launched a joint venture with XCEL to expand the fashion brand through livestream shopping and retail, proving once again that she’s both a visionary and a businesswoman with a finger firmly on the pulse of modern trends.

face of fitness through her long-standing partnership with Total Gym. And with more than 500 magazine covers to her name, her image continues to inspire women of all ages to reject expiration dates and embrace life boldly — bikini and all.

But perhaps Brinkley’s most profound legacy lies in her advocacy. Whether championing environmental causes on Long Island, campaigning against elephant poaching in Africa, or speaking at the United Nations on nuclear safety, she has leveraged her platform for a greater good. She sits on the boards of organizations like the Radiation and Public Health Project and The Global Security Institute, and supports causes ranging from children’s health to animal welfare. Her efforts have earned her numerous humanitarian awards, including the Pet Hero Humanitarian of the Year and the Broadway Beacon Award.

Christie Brinkley also has an exclusive line organic Prosecco and zero-sugar still wines called Bellissima, from Treviso, Italy. Her passion is to embrace life’s pleasures: adventure, travel, excellent food, and wine. Her vision for her organic Prosecco reflects her joie de vivre and to bring the world’s finest organic sparkling wine for everyone to enjoy.

“I wrote Uptown Girl to inspire people to create the life they want.”

What emerges in Uptown Girl is the full picture of a woman who has never been just one thing. Brinkley is not only a model and an actress, but an entrepreneur, a mother, an environmentalist, an artist, and an unapologetic optimist. The book is peppered with her own illustrations — evidence of the artistic eye that launched it all — and brims with a storytelling voice that’s as sharp as it is heartfelt.

“I wrote Uptown Girl to inspire people to create the life they want,” Brinkley says. And through her decades-long journey — onstage, on screen, and in service — she’s done just that.

In the world of beauty and wellness, Brinkley continues to lead. Her book Timeless Beauty spent 15 weeks on the bestseller list, and she’s still the

In a world where beauty is often seen as fleeting, Brinkley has made hers enduring — not because of how she looks, but because of how she lives. With grace, grit, and a glimmer in her eye, she continues to show that reinvention isn’t reserved for the young — it’s the reward of those who have a brave outlook on life and love.

The Colorful Evolution of Luxury Watches

Blue

Notes

Blue watches have become a modern essential, offering a perfect balance of sophistication and versatility. Whether in deep navy, vibrant cobalt, or soft sky blue, this timeless hue brings depth and character to any timepiece. Often associated with calm, confidence, and clarity, blue adds a refined edge to both sporty and formal designs. Effortlessly cool and always elegant, a blue watch is the kind of piece that makes a statement without saying too much.

Going Green

Green watches have surged in popularity, offering a fresh and unexpected twist on traditional timepieces. From rich forest and olive tones to vibrant emerald and jade, green dials bring a sense of luxury and individuality to the wrist. This earthy hue strikes the perfect balance between boldness and elegance — eye-catching yet refined. As watchmakers continue to experiment with texture, finish, and shade, green has proven itself to be more than a trend — it’s a modern classic that adds personality and polish to any collection.

White Hot

White watches offer a sleek, modern aesthetic that’s both timeless and refreshingly versatile. Crisp and clean, they bring a sense of minimalism and polish to any look, whether it’s a sporty chronograph or a refined timepiece. Perfect for warmer months but equally striking year-round, white watches pair effortlessly with everything — from casual denim to sharp tailoring. Their ability to stand out without being flashy makes them a favorite among those who appreciate understated luxury. With a cool edge and a fresh feel, white watches are the ultimate statement in subtle sophistication.

A JEWEL OF THE OCEAN

This exquisite reef is a celebration of marine life, masterfully crafted atop a richly textured malachite base. The natural patterns and deep green hues of the malachite evoke the organic beauty and mysterious depths of the ocean floor, providing a striking foundation for the intricate aquatic scene that rises above.

Emerging from the stone is a delicate coral tree, rendered in radiant 18k gold. Its fine branches host a vibrant school of jeweled fish — each one a miniature marvel that is removable and can be worn as jewelry. These tiny creatures are meticulously encrusted with a kaleidoscope of diamonds, sapphires, rubies, emeralds, tsavorites, tourmalines, and spinels. Their brilliant colors and varying textures mimic the dazzling biodiversity and iridescent pulse of a coral reef in full bloom.

The underwater dreamscape continues across the malachite base, where coral-like structures and gold sea flora are scattered with artistic flair. From golden anemones and starfish to intricate polyps and sponges, every element is sculpted in 18k gold and rendered with remarkable precision — each detail an homage to the delicate ecosystems that inspired them.

This reef sculpture is more than a decorative object — it is a symphony of color, texture, and material. A luxurious meditation on the splendor of the natural world, it invites not only admiration but reflection. It reminds us of the fragile beauty that exists beneath the waves and the power of human craftsmanship to honor that wonder.

As a collector’s piece, it transcends the realm of jewelry to become a timeless statement: that nature, when interpreted through the lens of art, can still leave us breathless.

HONORING CRAFTSMANSHIP

LONDON JEWELERS EXPANDS

CHARLES LONDON SCHOLARSHIP FOR WATCHMAKING STUDENTS

In today’s world of fast fashion and fleeting trends, traditional watchmaking stands apart. It’s a craft that takes patience, precision, and a deep respect for detail — values that can’t be rushed. To help ensure this timeless tradition continues, London Jewelers, in partnership with the Horological Society of New York (HSNY), is proud to support the next generation of watchmakers through the Charles London Scholarship.

“Charles London was a self-taught clockmaker who emigrated from Poland in 1923 and went on to establish our company in 1926,” says Candy Udell, President of London Jewelers. “We created this scholarship to honor his legacy and support those who, like him, dream of building a future in watchmaking.”

The Charles London Scholarship was established in 2023, and provides up to $5,000 to students enrolled in full-time watchmaking schools in the United States. It’s already made a difference — 16 scholarships have been

GIVING BACK

awarded so far, helping students overcome financial hurdles and focus fully on learning their craft.

Applications open every January 1 and close March 1, with recipients announced in April. To apply, students simply email a PDF letter to info@hs-ny.org that includes a short biography, why they’re passionate about watchmaking, and how the scholarship would help. A résumé is required, and letters of recommendation are welcome.

“London Jewelers’ continued support has made a real difference in the lives of students across the country,” says Nicholas Manousos, Executive Director of HSNY. “Their generosity helps keep the art of watchmaking alive and thriving for future generations.”

At its heart, the Charles London Scholarship is more than just financial aid — it’s about legacy, opportunity, and keeping craftsmanship ticking into the future.

LONDON JEWELERS CELEBRATES 100 YEARS WITH 100 GOOD DEEDS

As London Jewelers marks its centennial milestone, we are celebrating not only our history, but the community that has supported us for a century. In honor of our 100th anniversary, we are proud to launch “100 Good Deeds” — a yearlong initiative dedicated to giving back through acts of kindness, service, and support.

London Jewelers has grown into a premier destination for luxury jewelry and timepieces. But beyond our showcases and storefronts, our heart has always been with the people we serve. The “100 Good Deeds” campaign reflects our deep commitment to gratitude, generosity, and making a lasting impact.

Throughout the year, our team will engage in 100 acts of goodwill across the communities we call home — from supporting local charities and organizing food drives to partnering with schools, environmental groups, and health care initiatives. These deeds may be large or small, but each one will be carried out with intention and care.

We invite our customers, partners, and neighbors to join us in this journey. Together, we can make our 100th year not just a celebration of our legacy, but a powerful expression of what it means to be part of something meaningful.

The results are transformative: animals are better prepared for adoption, and young people walk away with renewed purpose and connection.

“Rescue Paw funds so many wonderful programs in so many communities,” she explains. “From humane education to pulling animals out of high-kill, overpopulated areas — we’re committed to giving them a second chance.”

That second chance often comes to life at Rescue Paw’s adoption events, where dozens of rescue groups and shelters come together to find loving homes for animals in need. These events not only connect animals with their forever families but also raise awareness about the broader issues of animal welfare. The foundation continues to support adoptive families long after the papers are signed — because Candy believes a rescue is for life.

In 2011, she found a unique way to bring her two worlds — jewelry and animal advocacy — together. She launched Our Cause for Paws, a jewelry collection where 100% of the net proceeds go toward animal rescue efforts. The collection doesn’t just raise money; it sparks conversations and inspires others to get involved.

Candy Udell Blends Jewelry and Animal Rescue in a Mission

That’s Changing Lives

Candy Udell, President of London Jewelers, has always believed in doing well by doing good. For her, running a successful family business and rescuing animals aren’t separate passions — they’re intertwined parts of a life driven by compassion.

One of her most heartfelt projects is Candy’s Angels, a partnership with Northwell Health Hospice Care Network. The program ensures that pets belonging to terminally ill patients are taken care of, from shelter and medical care to finding new loving homes.

“A hospice patient can pass in peace knowing their pet is well cared for and loved,” Candy says.

More than a decade ago, Candy took her lifelong love for animals and turned it into something bigger: the Rescue Paw Foundation. The nonprofit is dedicated to saving animals from neglect, abuse, and overcrowded shelters, while also working to end animal homelessness for good. It funds transportation, spay and neuter programs, and veterinary care — services that are often the difference between life and death for these animals. Thanks to strategic partnerships with shelters and rescue organizations around the country and beyond, Rescue Paw has helped save more than 10,000 animals.

“My life is about my family, my business, my friends, and animal rescue,” Candy shares. “All of that defines who I am. I try to fit it all in every day — and it’s working really well.”

But her work goes beyond rescue. Candy is also deeply committed to education — especially when it comes to teaching empathy and compassion. Through the Rescue Paw Foundation, she supports humane education programs that reach students at all levels, including her collaboration with Humane Education Advocates Reaching Teachers (HEART). These programs help children learn to care for animals and understand their responsibility in

Beyond her own foundation, Candy also lends her time and expertise as a board member at Long Island University’s College of Veterinary Medicine and the Nassau County SPCA. Her influence helps shape policy, support innovation in veterinary care, and fight animal cruelty on a broader scale. Working closely with the NCSPCA and Nassau County Executive Bruce Blakeman, Candy has played a key role in strengthening animal abuse laws. She also helped launch a new pet food bank program through the NCSPCA, which distributes donated food to underprivileged areas across Nassau County. Looking ahead, Candy is supporting a unique initiative that brings local school music programs into animal shelters, where students perform live music to soothe the animals — promoting well-being while raising awareness for pet adoption.

Through it all, Candy Udell remains grounded in her mission: to protect, uplift, and speak for those who can’t speak for themselves. Whether it’s through hands-on rescue, education, or compassionate leadership, she’s proving that business success and a generous heart can go hand in hand —and change lives along the way.
