“I invented and made it ” Innovative and revolutionary horological creator, François-Paul Journe has inspired a generation of contemporary watchmakers with the originality of his creations, his quest for precision, his timeless and immediately recognizable style, and his respect for horological ethics and traditions. In his Geneva manufacture, at the crossroad of Arts and Haute Horology, he honors artisanal work in producing his watches in small series, with exceptional precision and extensive craftsmanship, creating only the most exceptional and fine timepieces, with a subtle balance between tradition and new technologies. Their 18K rose Gold movements make perfect sense of the label ‘Invenit and Fecit’, Latin for invented and made, certifying an in-house caliber entirely conceived and assembled in the Geneva ateliers in which the watchmakers assemble their watch one by one. Known for his creativity, François-Paul Journe expresses his feeling for innovation and outstanding craftsmanship through major timepieces such as the Chronomètre à Résonance, the Tourbillon Souverain and the Chronomètre Optimum as well as the Répétition Souveraine or
the Quantième Perpétuel, all of which have granted him the highest horological Awards around the world. The Quantième Perpétuel (Perpetual Calendar) with instantaneous date jump offers a perfect readability through a new Silver guilloché dial with large apertures for the date, days and months while the leap year is shown in red. The automatic winding Octa calibre 1300.3 with 160-hour power reserve is manufactured in 18K rose Gold. Ref. QP, available in Platinum or in 18K 6N Gold, in 40 or 42 mm diameter.
