Redcliffe KiteFest is supported by the Queensland Government through Round 27 of Tourism and Events Queensland’s Queensland Destination Events Program, which strives to highlight the vital link between the wonderful events we host in our great state and the diverse destinations in which they take place.
Events such as Redcliffe KiteFest foster community pride, impart local culture with all who visit and make meaningful contributions to the local economy.
Beyond Redcliffe KiteFest, there is so much to see, do and experience in Moreton Bay.
I encourage all visitors from far and wide to soak in all the delights of Moreton Bay and make the most of all the experiences unique to this special part of Queensland.

I’m excited to welcome visitors once again to the beautiful Redcliffe Peninsula for one of Moreton Bay’s biggest and most spectacular events: Redcliffe KiteFest!
This fantastic, high-flying festival is now in its 24th year and is a firm highlight on South East Queensland’s events calendar. It continues to go from strength to strength, now drawing more than 31,000 people to our city each year.

This year’s action-packed program includes a visit from everyone’s favourite, Emma Memma, as well as the Hot Wheels Fun Zone, carnival rides, an engaging Kids Zone, and breathtaking aerial stunts!

Vietjet Redcliffe KiteFest wouldn’t be possible without the help of Kites Queensland and we would like to thank the club for their hard work and dedication to the annual Redcliffe KiteFest.
Kites Queensland is dedicated to fostering the age-old art of kite flying and kite making – and are the hosts of the main Ausbuild Kite Flying Arena at Redcliffe KiteFest!
Club members participate in demonstrations across the state (and occasionally interstate) and also conduct workshops in basic kite-making. It’s the annual Redcliffe KiteFest where the club really shines, a brilliant display showcasing colour and skill on the kite oval.
The club members work tirelessly throughout the year to organise the amazing displays in the sky that you’ll see at KiteFest today.

KITEFEST KARNIVAL
Twirl your way through the Vietjet Redcliffe KiteFest’s Kids Karnival zone! The kids (and young at heart) will have an absolute BLAST! Adrenaline junkies can enjoy rides all day with an all-day rides pass for $35.00 per person. All day ride passes are single day use only. Single ride tickets can also be purchased. All rides passes can be purchased at the festival in the Karnival precinct.
VIETJET Aerobatic Display
The sky’s the limit! Watch as a classic aircraft effortlessly loops, dips and zooms through the sky in the once daily Vietjet Aerobatic display! This is an awe-inspiring showcase that you won’t want to miss!
