Leave Us At Dawn WHAT? Leave Us At Dawn is a platform for artists of all genres, which started out about a year and a half ago. They always aim for a great party, with lots of dancing, drinking and talking. They are constantly looking for new talent and photographers who want to collaborate. Quite often, the organizers offer a spot on the bill to less obvious genres, like jazz, classical music or dance. And they aren’t shy to ask the audience to dress up. FOR WHOM? Everyone

FOR WHOM? Party people of all ages who truly love techno.

WHEN AND WHERE? Three times a year, Hertz is held at Petrol Club . This year, they are also hosting a NYE-party there! (93)

WHAT’S SPECIAL ABOUT HERTZ? “We love to keep going. When Belgian techno legend Stanny Franssen started his closing set, which was scheduled for one and a half hours, he ended up playing for over three hours. The crowd loved it!”

WHEN AND WHERE? There’s about six editions of Leave Us At Dawn per year, all held at DE Studio (85) (Mechelseplein). DREAM LINE-UP? “An AMOR-edition with Björk, Alva Noto & Ryuichi Sakamoto and Sidi Larbi Cherkaoui. Visuals by Lars Von Trier, while the staff would be chosen and dressed by La Fille d’O, with Tom Waits acting as host.” WHERE DOES THE NAME COME FROM? “It’s a reference to the song ‘Leave Us At Dawn’. It’s about the loneliness that can suddenly envelop you after a magical and extravagant night. The night is short, full of opportunities and everybody is looking for something. Focusing on the morning adds value to the night.” ON THE LINE: WWW.FACEBOOK.COM/LEAVEUSATDAWN
