VILLAGE OF BENSENVILLE WHITE PINES GOLF COURSE ANNEXES BACK INTO THE VILLAGE History of White Pines Golf Course
Over 15 years ago, a personal feud between the Village of Bensenville and the Bensenville Park District caused the Park District to disconnect the White Pines Golf Club from the Village of Bensenville. First opening its doors in 1928, the White Pines Golf Club includes 36 holes, on 240 acres, 37 Bar & Grill, and a luxury banquet facility.

With a positive relationship established between the Bensenville Park District and the Village of Bensenville, the Park District has agreed to a voluntary annexation agreement with the Village.
What this means The Village and Park District’s relationship rights the wrong of the past and opens the door for a number of positive opportunities in Bensenville. Benefits include, patrolling by the Village Police Department, becoming tax neutral to the Village, receiving capital improvement funds, faster permitting, reduced expenses, and increased mutual aid and sharing of resources or equipment.
COFFEE WITH THE PRESIDENT
As a means of being accessible to all residents, Village President Frank DeSimone and Village Trustees will begin their series of casual neighborhood meetings with residents throughout the Village. Coffee with the Village President is a great opportunity to ask questions and share concerns. The meetings will take place in the Central, Northern, and Southern sections of Bensenville.
