HEALTHY BREAKFAST RECIPES

Mixed Dal Dosa by Samarth 2F

Ingredients

Moong dal - 1 cup

Toor dal - 1 cup

Chana dal - 1 cup

Dosa / idli rice - 2 cups

Directions

Wash all the ingredients and soak for 8 hours

Grind the ingredients, adding a little salt and a pinch of hing If you like it spicy, then you can add 2- dried red chillies

Leave the mixture overnight.

Next morning, add ghee on a hot tawa and prepare the dosa. Enjoy with fresh coconut chutney or any other chutney of your choice.

Ragi Dosa by Eshaa 2F Ingredients

1 Cup ragi flour

1/2 cup rava

1 Cup rice flour

Directions

Mix all ingredients with finely cut onion, ginger and coriander Keep aside for 15 min then make a thin dosa and enjoy with ghee and Chutneypuddi

Puri Masala by Raghav 2F

Ingredients

For the puri

Salt

Water

Oil

For the masala

Urad dal

Carrot

Potato

Curry leaves

Directions

Mix atta, salt, oil and required amount of water to make a soft dough to make a soft dough.

Let it rest for sometime

Cut the veggies into small pieces

Heat a pan and add some oil, mustard, jeera, urad dal, chana da and roast for sometime Now add the other ingredients one by one

Saute the mixture for 2 minutes

Add 2 cups of water, close the pan and leave for whistles

Make a slurry with besan and water and add it to a pan Mix and cook the masala until it thickens. Now add some salt and check the taste of the masala. Serve the masala with hot puris and enjoy

Veggie Moong Pizza by Neevi Jain 2D

Ingredients

Moong Dal - 1 cup

Veggies - Onions, capsicum, tomatoes, sweet corn (boiled), cabbage, Spices - Red chili powder, turmeric, salt to taste

Directions

Wash the moong dal (2- times) with water

Soak the moong dal in a vessel for -4 minutes

Grind the dal and transfer it to a pan

Add all the chopped veggies

Add spices as per taste

Mix the butter nicely (like dosa batter, not too watery)

Take a pan with a lid

Pour the batter to the pan and close the lid. Heat till golden brown

After 5 minutes add some ghee and turn it over (so both sides are heated)

After 2 minutes turn off the gas and place it in a plate Make slices with the help of a pizza cutter and cut 6 - 8 pieces

Sprinkle some coriander for topping and the healthy veggie moong pizza is ready

Some cheese can also be added for kids

Yummy Sandwich by Shrinika 2F

First 2 slices of bread and toast it After that, put cheese and oregano on the toasted slices Then put a little capsicum Then add some pieces of tomato and slices of cucumber and a few pieces of onion and finally, EAT IT!

Trifle Fruit Salad

Ingredients

Fruits - Strawberry, apple, banana, pomegranate

Nutes - cashews , almonds, pistachios, figs Milk (1 cup), Honey

Marmalade

Directions

Take a round bowl

Cut the fruits in any size or or shape

Put the cut fruits in the bowl

Pour milk into the fruit bowl

Add the nuts for the crunch

Chocolate Walnut Sandwich by Tanush 2F Ingredients

Two slices of wheat/multigrain bread.

Banana/strawberry (thin slice)

Mulberry 5-6 Pieces cut into half Chocolate sauce

Chopped walnut

Directions

Take 2 slices of wheat/multigrain bread spread chocolate sauce on 1 side of each slice

Then arrange thin slices of banana/strawberry or both on 1 of the chocolate slice

Now arrange some mulberry slices on the top of banana/strawberry slices on bread.

Now put the other slice of the bread on the fruit topped slice and spread some more chocolate sauce on top Garnish with the walnut and ENJOY THE YUMMY TUMMY CHOCO FRUIT SANDWICH

Banana Cake by Sahaj 2D

Ingredients

Bananas - 2

Flour – 11⁄2 cup

Baking Powder – 2 tsp

Milk – 1 cup

Sugar – 2 tbsp

Vanilla essence – 1 tbsp

Salt – Per taste

Butter – 2 spoons

Directions

Mash 2 bananas in a big bowl

Put in milk, sugar, and vanilla Mix it up!

In another bowl, mix flour, baking powder, and salt

Slowly put dry mix into banana mix Stir a little

Make the pan hot. Put a little butter.

Scoop 1⁄4 cup of mix for each pancake and spread a pan cake (like dosa) on the hot pan

Cook until bubbly, then flip it! Cook for 1-2 more mins

Do this again until all pancakes are done

Eat with maple syrup, or honey Yum!

Vanilla Sponge Cake by Siddh Jain 2F Ingredients

½ cup flour

1 cup cued

3/4 cup granulated sugar

½ teaspoon baking soda

½ teaspoon baking powder

½ cup cooking oil

1 teaspoon vanilla essence

Directions

In a large bowl mix curd and sugar well Add baking powder and baking soda

Mix well and keep aside for a few minutes

Then add oil and vanilla essence to it

Add flour to the above mixture and mix it well

Keep mixing till it is a smooth batter

Pour the batter into a greased pan and bake for 5 - 45 minutes

Masala Cheese Omelet by Siddhanth M 2 F

Ingredients

1 tsp onion

1 tsp tomato

1 tsp carrot

1 tsp mushroom

1 tsp cheese

1 chopped garlic

Chopped curry leaves

Chopped coriander

1 egg

1 spoon milk

Directions

Mix all together Add a pinch of salt and pepper according to your taste

Take a pan Heat it up Pour 1/2 tsp oil and 1 tsp ghee Pour your omelet mixture into the pan Wait till it's cooked and now it's ready to eat

Omlette by Vedika 2F

Ingredients

2 eggs

Chopped onions

Salt to taste

Chaat masala

Directions

First break 2 eggs in a bowl

Put salt and some chaat masala and mix it

Add chopped onion

Put some butter in a pan. Pour the egg mixture into the pan

Fry for 1 minute

Flip it over and fry again

Ingredients

Tutti Frutti Bread cut into small cubes

Cheese cubes

2 eggs

1 Small onion finely chopped

1 Small Tomato finely chopped

Basil leaves chopped

Oregano 1/4 th tsp

Salt to taste and a pinch of pepper powder

Directions

Beat eggs and add all the above ingredients into the beaten egg

Dip and coat the bread cubes with the egg mixture

Take a pan add some butter and saute the bread cubes, coated with egg mixture, until done.

Immediately sprinkle grated cheese

Bread 65 is ready to eat ENJOY!!

1 bowl sprouted green moong dal

Chopped cucumber

Chopped coriander leaves

Lemon juice - 2 tsps

Salt as per taste

Mix everything and the salad is ready.

Power Broccoli by

Broccoli - 1 big piece

Almonds - 1 bowl

Hung curds - 2 cups

Cream - ½ cup

Ginger garli paste - ½ t-spoon

Chredded cheese - 1 cup

Elaichi powder - ½ t-spoon

Thyme - 1/2 spoon

Olive oil

Directions

Was the broccoli and cut into florets.

Blanche them in hot water for few minutes

Make a paste of almonds

Now add the almond paste along with hung curds, cream and finger garlic paste to the broccoli and mix them

To this mixture add elaichi powder, thyme and salt

Put this in a baking tray

Top it with shredded cheese

Place in an oven and bake for 10 minutes at 200 C

Leelkrrish’s Dry Fruit Brownie

2 soft dates, smashed

2 tablespoons of soaked raisins

2 tablespoons of chopped strawberries

2 tablespoons of nuts mixed with honey

2 teaspoons of grated dried coconut

3 tablespoons of cocoa powder

Pistachios for garnish

Ingredients Directions

1. In a mixing bowl, combine the smashed dates, soaked raisins, chopped strawberries, honey-coated nuts, grated dried coconut, and cocoa powder. Mix well until all ingredients are evenly incorporated.

2. Once the mixture is well combined, use a stencil or cookie cutter to mould it into desired shapes.

3. Place the moulded brownies in the refrigerator and let them chill for at least 3 hours to set

4. Before serving, garnish the brownies with chopped pistachios for added flavour and texture

I recently ventured into the world of salad making, and I must say, it was an exhilarating experience! With my dad's assistance in grating the vegetables, we created what turned out to be the most delightful salad I've ever had.

I combined an array of fresh vegetables along with a generous handful of dry fruits. Once all the ingredients were mixed to perfection, I eagerly presented the salad to my family and asked for their input on what to name this culinary creation.

After considering various suggestions, I settled on "Nutty Rainbow Surprise," a name proposed by my dad. It perfectly captured the medley of flavours, colours, and textures in the salad.

As I proudly proclaimed, "East or West, My Salad is the BEST!!" This wholesome and delicious dish became a new breakfast favourite for our family, bringing joy and satisfaction to our mornings.

Keanu’s Tulsi Honey Nut Mix

This nutritious concoction doubles as a home remedy for colds, providing soothing relief for pesky coughs and sniffles.

Ingredients Directions

1 teaspoon of Tulsi honey

1 teaspoon of plain honey

3 drops of Tulsi extract

Crushed cashew nuts

Salted almonds

1. In a small bowl, combine the Tulsi honey, plain honey, and Tulsi extract. Stir well to ensure thorough mixing.

Directions

In a bowl, combine all the ingredients

Mix them well with a little lemon juice and salt for taste.

Giaan's No Bake Chocolate Cheesecake

Ingredients

For the base:

• Oreo cookies - 20 (with cream)

• Melted butter - 2 tablespoons

Directions

For the cheesecake:

• Oreo cookies - 20 (with cream)

• Melted butter - 2 tablespoons

For the cheesecake:

• Cream cheese - 200g (room temperature)

• Fresh cream - 200 ml

• White butter - 2 tablespoons

• Dark chocolate - 200g

• Powdered sugar - 3 tablespoons

For the base:

1. Add the Oreo cookies to a blender and crush them into a powder.

2. Transfer the crushed cookies to a bowl and mix in 2 tablespoons of melted butter. Ensure thorough mixing.

3. Press the biscuit mixture evenly onto the base of a springform pan or a glass utensil of your choice Refrigerate while preparing the cheesecake filling.

For the cheesecake:

1. Melt the white butter and dark chocolate using a Bain Marie. Let the mixture cool to room temperature once completely melted.

2. Using a stand mixer, whip the fresh cream and powdered sugar together until soft peaks form.

3. In another bowl, mix the cream cheese until it becomes soft and smooth.

4 Gently fold the whipped cream mixture into the softened cream cheese.

5. Gradually add the melted chocolate and butter mixture to the cream and cheese mixture, mixing on low speed until fully incorporated.

6. Retrieve the prepared base from the refrigerator and pour the cheesecake mixture into it, tapping lightly to remove any trapped air bubbles.

7. Cover the pan or glass utensil and refrigerate the cheesecake for at least 4 hours until it is set Once set, if using a springform pan, remove the outer ring. Drizzle some melted chocolate over the top before serving.

Enjoy your delicious no-bake chocolate cheesecake!

Preparation-cut your avocado into half, remove the seed, scoop the flesh into a bowl and mash it up with a fork then add grated carrot, salt , and pepper flakes , mix well and your avocado spread is ready!!

Now take two slices of whole wheat bread spread some butter then add avocado spread and toast the bread with butter , finish your avocado toast with a light sprinkle of oregano flakes and enjoy your healthy protein rich breakfast !!

Chicken Fry

Ingredients

Chicken oil

Directions

You need to cut chicken into small chunks.

Heat the pan , then add oil in the pan. Oh be careful in this part , it might splash a bit . So you have to put the chicken into the pan that has oil .

Stir it nicely , add a little salt and stir it and then add pepper and stir it again , allow it coat nicely and let it to cook for sometime

Then when it’s fully white, break a piece of chicken and check whether it’s fully cooked.

Then add a little fish sauce and then add a little soya sauce, stir it very nicely so it gets coated.

Once it’s fully coated , you can put them in the bowl and eat it . Even my mom likes it and my dad likes it too . I posted on YouTube and my friend tried it and she also liked it. Last but not the least even I loved it .

Pan Cake Ingredients

1 box of fresh Strawberries

3 tablespoons chia seeds

1/2 lemon juice

3 to 4 tablespoons of maple syrup

Directions

Wash well and cut fresh strawberries. You can cut one strawberry into 4 pieces each.

Place the strawberries into a small saucepan over medium heat. Cook, stirring occasionally, for about 10 minutes, until the strawberries release a lot of liquid and soften.

Mash the strawberries with a spoon or potato masher. Leave some pieces of berries as they taste nice in the jam.Add chia seeds and stir it well. Once the jam thickens, switch off the gas and add 1/2 lemon juice and maple syrup to get your desired sweetness. Store it in a glass jar and put it in the fridge Spread it on a slice of toasted bread or pancake and enjoy!

Ingredients:

Boiled sweet potatoes - 100 grams

Boiled peanuts- 100 grams

Onion - 1 small size

Tomato - 1 small size

Coriander for garnish

Method:

Boil the sweet potatoes and peanuts and mix them in a bowl ,add finely chopped onion, tomato , a pinch of chilli powder and salt ,1 tsp lemon juice and coriander for garnishing.

Healthy sweet potato and peanut salad is ready to eat. It is rich in fibre and protein and is tasty to eat you can make it as an evening snack or just enjoy any time of the day.

My mom and I made red sauce pasta at home for my dad. Ingredients I used are: boiled pasta ,red tomato paste ,garlic and pasta seasoning , my dad loved it and I want to make it every weekend for him.

Ingredients : Mixed Sprouts, Diced Onions, Tomato, Cucumber, Green Chilly, Coriander Leaves, Lemon Juice, Salt and Chat Masala.

Recipe : Take Mixed Sprouts in a bowl, add the required quantity of the Chopped vegetables and add a spoon of lemon juice. Add a little Salt and Chat Masala to it. Mix it well and garnish it with Coriander Leaves. With this the Mixed Sprouts Salad is ready to be Enjoyed with the entire Family.

1 cup oats

2. Half a cup of fine semolina/suji

3. One cup buttermilk

4. Salt

5. One onion finely chopped

6. One small carrot finely chopped

7. Four to five spinach leaves finely chopped.

9. Cooking soda

10. Tablespoon butter for cooking

Method

1. Mix the oats and suji in a bowl

2. Pour buttermilk to stir well.

3. Mix carrot, onions, spinach and coriander into it.

4. Put salt for taste and stir well.

5. Let it soak for 15 mins

6. Heat the pan

7. Pour the batter

8. Put some butter and cook on both sides

9. Oats pan cake is ready

10. Serve with a smile

Ingredients

1.Rice rava- 1cup

2 Water-2cups

3 A pinch of salt

4.Murrukku Maker

5. A bowl of water to make balls

6. Ghee – 1 teaspoon

Method

1 Take a dish and add the rice rava, salt and water Bring to a boil, stirring continuously until most of the water evaporates.

2.Close with a lid and simmer for 10 minutes.

3. Once done, make palm sized balls and set aside.

4 Steam the balls in a steamer for 15 minutes

5 Grease the insides of the murukku maker with ghee

6.Take one ball and put it in a murukku maker. Press down to make noodle like nooputt and collect it on a plate in small circular motions to make it look like a heap Set aside

7 Continue to do so with the rest of the balls

8. Relish the healthy yet delicious nooputt with vegetable curry!
