The blips of sunshine and rainshowers are signaling the arrival of spring, I trust you’re eagerly anticipating the wonderful activities the Club offers to embrace the warmer weather.
I hope to see you on the 2nd for the Annual Meeting at the Vicmead Clubhouse. For those unable to attend, kindly consider submitting your proxy, either in person with our staff or via email to Jill Noval at jnoval@vicmead.com, ensuring our quorum. The meeting will feature a “year in review,” highlighting the Club’s financial performance, achievements, and our strategic direction. Following the meeting, the Professional staff has prepared a buffet in the Clubhouse featuring chicken curry, grilled mahi mahi and delicious sides. Seating is limited, so please make reservations in advance.
A heartfelt thank you to the Development Ad Hoc Committee for their thorough update in the March mailer. If you haven’t had the opportunity yet, I urge you to peruse the piece, providing insights into their focus and project trajectory. Additionally, I want to thank those who participated in the recent kitchen tours led by Chef David and the Committee. If you did not get a chance to attend, please consider joining them for an enlightening tour on one of the upcoming dates.
April 11th marks the start of the Bidermann Golf Season. Take advantage of this opportunity to dust off your clubs and experience the remarkable work of our Grounds Department and our partner, iSi, who are finalizing the irrigation project at this time. Lunch service also resumes at the Farmhouse on the same day.
For those longing for the ambiance of the Bidermann Bunker and terrace dining, be sure to save the date for a new event on May 3rd, Taste on the Terrace. Chef Kevin Lutes (Farmhouse) and Chef Nick Erb (Bidermann Bunker), along with our Culinary team, will present an array of the new menu items, seasonal cocktails, and favorites like burgers and hot dogs for all ages to enjoy. The perfect teaser for those coveted Friday and Saturday nights at Bidermann.
On April 7th, the Chicken Run & Brunch buffet combines our Easter Egg Hunt with a scrumptious brunch. Prizes await our young members, including ice cream for the season and the coveted “Swizzle a Day” prize for those 21+. Whether hunting or just brunching, all are welcome to join in the festivities.

On Thursday, April 11th we kickoff the 59th season of golf at Bidermann G.C.! Excitement is at an all-time high as the course takes center stage after undergoing an eight-month long irrigation project. There is no better time to enjoy the golf experience than right now. I look forward to serving our Membership for my 13th season as Golf Professional.
Our Professional Staff is looking forward to welcoming you back. Joining us for their inaugural season is Jeff Kublin, Sr. Asst. Professional, Emily Centofante, Asst. Professional, and Tomas Fortson, Asst. Professional. We also look forward to welcoming back John Lynch, Teaching Professional, and Zac Oakley, Asst. Teaching Professional.
