CEO’s Foreword
I am very pleased to present our 2024/25 report, which highlights the significant progress we have made towards our ESG goals. Over the past year, we have taken substantial steps to better manage the impact of our operations. We have made strong headway in our key focus areas: environmental sustainability, ethical practices, responsible procurement, and social impact.
While advancing our own ESG agenda is crucial, our role also involves helping our customers grow their businesses with environmental and social sustainability at the core. This means we must lead by example, and that extends well beyond what we can reasonably achieve now. We need to look ahead and anticipate the challenges of the future too. In line with our

Advancing Environmental Sustainability in our Operations
+ Dedicated environmental management policies
Our policies
Our dedicated Environmental Management Policy in accordance with ISO 14001: 2015 ensures that environmental initiatives are embedded and supported by our senior leadership team and commits us to improving our environmental performance.
This enhances our legislative compliance obligations, preventing pollution, reducing consumption, conserving water and protecting biodiversity at all times. In addition to these commitments, we maintain separate policies on hazardous substances, waste management and refrigeration gases to ensure we’re fully addressing our environmental management.
Decarbonising our operations
We calculate emissions in line with ISO 14064 and the GHG Protocol, using an operational control approach for Scope 1 and 2.
As we don’t own office buildings or operate a company fleet, Scope 1 emissions are minimal. Scope 2 covers emissions from purchased electricity across our global offices, and we prioritise certified renewable energy wherever possible. We also report on key Scope 3 categories— purchased goods and services, business travel, commuting, and waste—reflecting our commitment to understanding and managing broader value chain impacts. As a digital transformation company, we see both the responsibility and opportunity to lead on climate—reducing the impact of our operations (“greening of tech”) and helping others do the same through our solutions (“greening by tech”). This underpins our role in the twin transition, where digital innovation and sustainability come together to drive lasting progress.

Energy
In 2023, we consolidated our office footprint by transitioning away from smaller, less efficient sites to focus on larger, energy-efficient hubs that align with our sustainability goals.
This shift enabled us to become 100% electrified, eliminating fossil fuel use for heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC), and reducing our Scope 1 emissions to zero. However, following an acquisition in 2024, our electrification coverage temporarily decreased to 92%, as the acquired office was not fully electrified. At the time of reporting, this office had already been decommissioned.
As part of our ongoing energy efficiency efforts, 100% of our offices are now fitted with LED lighting, and 87% have presenceactivated (PIR) sensors to help cut
Energy at a glance
unnecessary energy use. Environmental criteria are embedded in decisions about new leases and during mergers and acquisitions. Our hybrid working policy has also helped us optimise space and energy use.
Despite these efforts, our electricity consumption increased by 12% between 2022 and 2024, in line with a 14% rise in headcount and greater office occupancy. Location Rate Scope 2 emissions refer to our consumption of electricity regardless of source. As a result, our Scope 2 (location) emissions were 31% higher in 2024 compared to 2023 and this is due to both an increase in consumption and updated emissions factors (DEFRA), which change annually to reflect the carbon intensity of electricity across regions.
Renewable Electricity
In 2024, 96% of our total office energy consumption came from 100% renewable sources—up from 94% in 2023 and 88% in 2022. This steady increase reflects our ongoing commitment to transitioning towards a more sustainable and low-carbon operation.
Our ambition is to operate entirely on renewable energy across our global office portfolio, and we are proud to be close to achieving this goal. This progress is reflected in our market-based emissions, which rose by only 20% since 2023—despite increased electricity use and updated DEFRA emission factors—highlighting the impact of our renewable sourcing strategy.
As we lease all our office space, we cannot generate renewable energy on-site. Instead, we prioritise certified green tariffs to indirectly support clean energy. The key exception remains our Indian office, where certified green tariffs are unavailable—though the local grid is approximately 80% renewable or low-carbon. We continue to monitor the market and aim to transition as soon as feasible.
Looking ahead, we remain focused on reducing our consumption and increasing the renewable share of our energy mix.
Biodiversity
While biodiversity is not a high material impact area for us, given that we do not manufacture goods, own buildings, or operate in rural or ecologically sensitive areas, we recognise its vital role in climate resilience and environmental sustainability.
As a professional services company, our operations are largely urban and officebased. We believe businesses like ours still have a responsibility to promote biodiversity awareness, support urban nature, and foster a sense of environmental stewardship among employees.
We are proud members of the All-Ireland Pollinator Plan and apply its guidance across all the regions in which we operate. Through our regional Green Teams, we support local biodiversity actions that are both educational and impactful— connecting people with place, and nature with work. These efforts help build a culture of ecological responsibility in the everyday environments where our people live and work.
Our regional Green Teams lead biodiversity initiatives that engage employees and support local ecosystems, which help foster a culture of environmental responsibility across our regions—showing that even in cities, businesses can play a role in protecting and celebrating biodiversity.
Ireland and Northern Ireland:
In Dublin, we hosted a biodiversity workshop with Understory, a zero-waste social enterprise, followed by pollinatorfriendly planting on our office balcony. In Cork, we partnered with Green Spaces for Health to map the city’s urban biodiversity and explore how each species contributes to a healthier environment. In Northern Ireland, one of our beekeeping colleagues hosted a virtual session from his home apiary, sharing insights on the vital role of pollinators and how they support biodiversity.
India:
Our team led a volunteer clean-up of Akshi Beach, travelling over 150km to remove 200kg of non-biodegradable waste—supporting marine biodiversity and local environmental health.
UK:
In Newcastle, employees joined a Kittiwake Safari along the Quayside to observe the world’s most inland breeding colony of seabirds and learn more about urban wildlife conservation.
Waste Management
Our recorded waste has increased compared to 2022 and 2023, which we attribute to improved accuracy from our digital solutions, now capturing waste levels down to the number of bags per day. This datadriven approach helps us identify hotspots and take targeted action.
Our zero-waste office goal by 2030 is supported by ambitious programmes. Bold targets and actionable steps have fostered a workplace focused on waste reduction. Over the past five years, we’ve achieved reductions across all waste streams. A key driver has been our hybrid work policy, which reduced in-office waste, especially food waste and single-use plastics. We are 90% paperless, enabled by digital-first
Waste at a glance
processes and cloud collaboration tools. Following our annual waste and single use plastic audit, our Green Team produced an awareness video with team leads addressing common office waste and proper segregation. The audit also led to a programme to eliminate plastic water bottles, achieving 40% coverage. All employees are trained in waste segregation, improving knowledge and reducing office waste.
Our IT operations follow a circular economy framework: buy better, consume less, prolong life, and avoid landfill. We maximise hardware lifespan and ensure responsible asset management—96% of retired IT assets are repurposed, donated, or recycled, with recycling as a last resort.
Water Usage
We have a minimal water footprint, with consumption limited to bathroom use and tap water. Our reported water usage is concluded from a small number of offices due to the lack of metering for leased office spaces. However, we continue to monitor and report, to ensure good environmental management practices across our locations.
Much of our water data is not based on direct meter readings but is instead extrapolated using average usage per square metre, as primary data is often unavailable from landlords. As a result, our reported figures are likely overestimated, particularly in earlier years.
Despite these limitations, reported water consumption has decreased by 88% since 2022, from over 5 million litres to just over 600,000 litres in 2024. This reflects both improved occupancy-based reporting and a continued focus on optimising water use where possible.

Supplier Assessments
Our new vendor onboarding process ensures that we only engage with legitimate and credible vendors.
We have a supplier code of conduct uploaded onto our company website and vendor due diligence questionnaires are issued to ensure compliance and allow us to assess our suppliers.
Supplier
Engagement
All suppliers undergo a standardised onboarding process to confirm legitimacy, compliance, and alignment with our values.
We use tools to manage procurement workflows and approvals, and to assess third-party risk, including data privacy, cybersecurity, and ESG performance. These platforms help ensure we only engage with trusted suppliers that meet our ethical, operational, and sustainability standards.
We run supplier engagement programmes focused on sustainability and the advancement of diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) in our supply chain by proactively working with female-owned and environmentally responsible businesses, social enterprises, and local businesses led by minority or vulnerable groups. This strengthens community resilience and contributes to more inclusive economic growth and a sustainable supply chain.
Sustainable Sourcing
We are committed to reducing environmental impacts across our supply chain through responsible sourcing and partnerships. It is our policy to procure only the most energy-efficient laptops through our tier 1 hardware provider.
