Collocata nelle campagne di Sutri, nel viterbese, la casa è organizzata per accogliere entrambi i lati della vita dell’artista, quello artistico e quello famigliare.
Gli ambienti sono organizzati su due livelli secondo una pianta lineare: nel primo troviamo gli ambienti della abitazione, mentre in quello superiore è dedicato agli spazi dello studio dell’artista. La successione degli ambienti è scandita dalla presenza di patii che dividono gli spazi più privati da quelli collettivi. Nel piano superiore la grande terrazza permette la vista del paesaggio.
Located in the in the Viterbo coutryside of Sutri, the house is organized to accomodate both sides of the artist’s life, the working one and the family one.
The plan is linear and is divided in two foors, in the frst one there are the rooms of the house, while the second one is dedicated to the studio spaces.
In the frst foor two patios divide the diferent areas, in the living room a ramp of stairs connect the living room to the ofce part of the studio. Upstairs you can fnd a large terrace where you can enjoy the view.

CASA PER IL SOLAR DECATTHLON

Questa abitazione unifamiliare è pensata per una famiglia di 3 o 4 componenti progettata secondo i parametri di efcienza energetica del Solar Decathlon, un competizione a livello universitario che si tiene sia in Europa che negli Stati uniti. La progettazione oltre al disegno architettonico prevede l’organizzazione della logistica del cantiere, come prevede la competizione i progetti devono essere realizzabili in una settimana nel sito della competione.
This single-family house was designed for a family of 3 to 4 members according to the energy efciency criteria of solar decathlon, an international university-level competition that takes place both in Europe and in America. the participants not only design the houses, but they have to organize the logistics of the construction site as they will realize their projects in a week in the area where the competition will take place.

Immerso nello spazio verde del quartiere alessandrino si erge il complesso sportivo e culturale che guarda al quartiere e si confonde con il parco. È articolato su due livelli: in quello superiore il parco di antropicizza con il verde dei tetti giardino ci indica gli ingressi alla zona culturale della stecca che si apre con la sua facciata vetrata al quartiere; nel livello inferiore il passaggio pedonale si apre a della piazze che ci indicano ai tre grandi spazi, l’auditorium, la piscina e la palestra.
In the greenery of the park in the Alessandrino neighborhood the sports and cultural center stands from the nature towards the inhabited side of the district. It is structured on two levels: on the frst one the land of grass turns into roof gardens indicating us the entrances to the cultural block, which with its glassed facade opens towards the district; on the level underneath the pedestrial path opens up on the squares pointing to the three main collective areas, the auditorium, the swimming area and the gymnasium.

RIQUALIFICAZIONE DEL COMPLESSO RESIDENZIALE
DI VIGNE NUOVE 07.
Il complesso residenziale di Vigne Nuove costruito negli anni ‘70 come intervento di quartiere si presenta in uno stato di degrado, pertanto si è pensato ad un intervento di riqualifcazione in chiave ambientale. In un ottica di economia del cantiere e di efcienza energetica si è pensato ad un intervento di miglioramento sia degli ambienti residenziali che del ruolo all’interno del quartiere. Spazi comuni e riorganizzazione degli spazi permettono un miglioramento qualitativo delle abitazioni. Una addizione in facciata permette di ottenere nuovi spazi esterni per gli appartamenti un’addizione in sommità di nuove unità abitative.
The Vigne Nuove complex built in the 70s as neighbourhood intevention, is now in state of decay. Therefore we thought of an intevention from an enviromental perspective.
From a perspective of site economi ed energetic efciency the intervention aim to improve both residential spaces and the role of the complex in the neighbourhood. Introduction of common spaces and a rearrange of the current spaces will lead to a qualitative improvement of the apartemnts.
An addition on the facade will permit to gai new pacese of each of the apartments. New duplex appartment will be added on the top of the building.

Gli inteventi pensati sono principalmente tre e sono descritti in 3 casi studio. Il primo è ridistribuzione e ricollocazione degli spazi tra le softte e i duplex del primo piano. Le softte diventano cantine nel primo piano dei duplex che non godono di esposizioni ottimali. Il piano superiore degli attuali duplex viene ridistribuita in appartamenti di nuovi tagli e spazi per la comunità. Per il secondo intervento si è pensato di conferire agli appartamenti nei piani superiori nuovi spazi all’esterno con delle addizioni in facciata sud mentre a nord si è pensato di
The main intervensions are three and described in three case studies.
The frst one is the redestribution and relocation of the attic deposits and the duplex of the frst foor.
The deposit attics are moved on frst foor of the duplex, since the current duplex don’t beneft of the optimal exposure conditions.
On the second foor of the current duplex there’s a redistribution of the spaces into new cut of apartments and shared spaces for the community.
As second intervention it was decided to give to the apartement of the upper foors

trasformare le attuali fnestre della zona giorno in bow window. Oltre alle addizioni si è pensato ad una sostituzione della facciata con pannelli realizzati in situ con il riciclo del rivestimento attuale e per migliorare le prestazioni energetiche si è pensato di introdurre un insolante nell’intercapedine esistente, per assicurarne un migliore comfort termico. Infne i duplex scomparsi della ridistribuzione degli spazi dei primi piani divengono nuove addizioni in sommità del complesso costruiti in legno con alte prestazioni energetiche e migliore qualità abitativa.

new external spaces with an addition on the south facade, while on the north side the current window of the living area become bow windows. Besides the additions we decided to replace de facade with new panel made in situ by reclying the existing ones and in order to improve the energy performance it has been decided to insert insulation in the existing to ensure a better thermal comfort. Lastly the duplex disappeard from the redistribution of the frst foors become a new addition on the top of the complex, built in wood iwth high energy performance and better housing quality.
