Join the Master of Science in Health Care Transformation, a unique, interdisciplinary degree, to learn practical frameworks for increasing health care value by dramatically improving outcomes for patients.
Delivered in a hybrid format that combines online and onsite learning, the program is designed to be completed while working full time. Students learn through a case-based curriculum that was built from the ground up for experienced health professionals.
This innovative program is offered by the Value Institute for Health and Care, a shared enterprise of the Dell Medical School and McCombs School of Business at the University of Texas at Austin co-founded by Professors Elizabeth Teisberg and Scott Wallace.

Throughout the program, students gain perspective on three foundational lenses that are critical to achieving higher-value health care:
How can we eliminate disparities in health care delivery and health outcomes?
How can I identify and leverage my strengths to lead transformational change?
How do relationships between providers, patients, families, and others contribute to better health outcomes?
Students engage with experts in equity, personal leadership, and relationship-centered care to apply these lenses in their work both within and beyond the program.
