When you have a clear idea about the product, it is necessary to learn about the place where the business will be developed, as this influences the choice of materials and ornamental and/or functional details that should be taken into account when starting a project. “Once the concept of the business to be opened is clear, the ideal would be to choose the location so that the idea is accommodated as well as possible. The process is much easier when it comes to a place that is in obra negra or gris (black or gray work), but if you already have the space, sometimes certain remodeling is required. That’s why you need to have enough creativity to customize it,” explains Pérez.
Cuando se tiene la idea clara sobre el producto, es necesario conocer el lugar donde se desarrollará el negocio, pues esto influye en la elección de los materiales y detalles ornamentales y/o funcionales que se deberán tomar en cuenta al momento de comenzar un proyecto. “Una vez que se tiene claro el concepto del negocio que se desea abrir, lo ideal sería elegir el local para que la idea se adapte lo mejor posible. El proceso es mucho más fácil cuando se trata de un local que se encuentra en obra negra o gris, pero si ya se cuenta con el espacio, en ocasiones se requiere de ciertas remodelaciones. Por ello se necesita contar con bastante creatividad para adecuarlo”, explica Pérez. MATERIALES Y LUCES
MATERIALS AND LIGHTING The materials to be used will depend on the type of product or service offered, as the objective is to highlight its essence. In addition, business hours should be taken into account to determine the type of lighting to be used. “Normally, the materials we recommend are those with less maintenance and that are practical to clean, such as wallpapers that generate different textures or reliefs and colors according to the brand or product, as well as mirrors, wood—which is indispensable—fabrics and furniture for heavy use, so that they last a long time,” comments Gallo.
Los materiales a utilizar dependerán del tipo de producto o servicio que se ofrezca, pues el objetivo es resaltar su esencia. Además, se debe tomar en cuenta el horario del negocio para determinar el tipo de iluminación a utilizar. “Por lo regular, los materiales que recomendamos son aquellos de menor mantenimiento y que sean prácticos de limpiar, como papeles tapiz que generen distintas texturas o relieves y colores acordes a la marca o producto, así como espejos, madera —la cual es indispensable—, telas y muebles de uso rudo para que duren por mucho tiempo”, comenta Gallo.
