three year period and each state playing each other once away in the three year period .

Like a normal foory draw, four poin : -willbe allocated for each win and at the end of the three year period a irational Amateur Champion will be announced . The main reason for the decline of the Carnivals as they were played were the huge costs involved and it is hoped to attract a naming rights' sponsor who would undenvrite all costs of travelling associated with the playing of these matches . The concept on naming an All Australian team will also be reintroduced .
The draw for the three year competition has been made and is to be ratified by the three participating states' boards of management before publication . The draw will appear in this column as soon as possible . With the Gl'estern Australian Amateurs keen to re-enter the senior competition after long time out of senior representative football, the VAFA will be keen to provide regular competition for our C-D4 (B-D4) representative side, probably playing the same organisation as our Under 19 representative side and on the same day.
VIDEOS OF REP MATCHES AFL, VFL club, VAFA players, parents and supporters may order vidoes of nay of the three matches played over the last two weekends . Charges - AFL/VFL club $100 per tape an d others $20 per tape. Payment must be lodged with order and orders directed to Karen McNaught at VAFA ( PO Box 359 Elsternwick, 3185) .
