Our traditional residence halls have double rooms with shared bathrooms. The semi-suites offer two double rooms with a private bathroom for four people, and the suite-style residence hall features four single rooms with two bathrooms for four people. There's a perfect fit for everyone!

Hungry? We've got you covered with a variety of dining options at reasonable prices. With eight different dining spots on campus, you’ll never be far from a meal. From the all-you-care-to-eat dining hall that includes gluten-free, lactose-free, and vegetarian options, to convenient cafes that offer grab-and-go sandwiches, coffee, and smoothies, there’s something to satisfy every appetite.
UW-Platteville is invested in the safety of every student, faculty, and staff member on our campus and employs sworn police officers who patrol campus 24/7. The Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act requires colleges and universities make available a combined Annual Security Report and Annual Fire Safety Report, which includes statistics for the previous three years concerning reported crimes on campus. The report also includes institutional policies concerning campus security, such as those concerning alcohol and drug use, crime prevention, the reporting of crimes, sexual assault, and other matters. In addition to federal aid, UW-Platteville offers over $6 million in merit and need-based scholarships so students can focus on their studies without burden.
Platteville Promise guarantees that the university will pay for any gap between an eligible first-year student’s tuition and fees and their scholarships/grants. Available to Wisconsin, Iowa, Illinois, and Minnesota residents.
Federal Work Study is a federally funded, need-based program, which gives you the opportunity to work on campus part time. Any student can also choose from hundreds of on-campus employment opportunities that are designed just for university students.
