Macro/Up Close Photography
Learn techniques and tricks to photograph subjects at close range. This up-close perspective can be exciting for shooting plants and capturing the small details of larger objects. You will need a camera with macro capabilities (most of today’s point-and-shoot cameras have macro settings), a tripod, and your imagination. A tripod, though optional for the class, is necessary for good macro photography.

In just a few hours, you can learn the secrets of playing an instrument many musicians spend years mastering. From the comfort of your own home, you can learn to play piano the way professionals do using chords. The course is part lecture/demonstration and part handson instruction. Woodworking: Building a Mounted Coat Rack
Through eight hands-on lessons, you will learn woodworking basics, and tool and machine safety as you create your own wall-mounted coat rack. Hiking the Driftless
Join us and hike the beautiful Driftless Region of Southwest Wisconsin in a series of four group outings. Each Wednesday, we’ll meet at a designated Richland Center location equipped with a good pair of shoes, outdoor wear, a water bottle, and our shared interest in the outdoors. Hikes will last about 60–90 minutes and are about 2–2.5 miles, depending on the trail. While hiking, you will learn about the geology of this unique part of the state. Beginner to intermediate-level group hikes.
