WetraveledtoSt.Elizabethwherewesocializedandgotabreakfromschool whileenjoyingthewonderfulwatersatYSFalls.Iwasextremelyhappywiththe amazingjourneyswehadtogether.IwasmotivatedandIevenmadenewfriends. Message
Andjustlikethat,the2023-2024CKIyear hascometoanendandsoasmytimeasthe BulletinEditorfortheUTECHWestCKI club.Ithasbeenatremendousyear.Oneof mygoalsforquarter4wastobemoreactive intheclubandIwasabletofulfillthatgoal. Itookpartintheclothingdriveatthe MustardSeedChildren’sHome,wentto theclubsocial,andtookpartinabeach cleanup.Ihadthewonderfulopportunity ofattendingDCON2024whereIreceived theawardforDistinguishedBulletinEditor. IalsoattendedtheSunshineDivision’sBlazingMasqueradeBallattheUWI MonaCampus.Somygoalwasaccomplished.Itisbittersweetknowingthatmy timeasBulletinEditorhascometoanend.However,Iamexcitedtoseewhatthe upcomingbulletinshaveinstorefortheclubandIwishthemallthebest.Itwasa pleasureservingasyourBulletinEditorfor2023-2024.

On January 8, Kiwanis Club of Rosehall, gifted two nursing students who are apart of the UTech West CKI sthethoscopes which were collected by President Sasha-gaye Gray.

On January 15, kiwanis Club of Rosehall invited members of the UTech West CkI club to a Games Night.

On January 27, we donated boxes filled with clothing items for the residents of the Mustard Seed Children’s Home.

All work and no play, makes Jack a dull boy!!! After our donation drop off at the Mustard Seed Children’s Home, we had a blast at our club social at YS Falls in St. Elizabeth. It was pure fun, excitement, and good vibes!!! UTECH WEST CKI | VOL 3. ISS 4 12
On February 16, some of our members assisted at the Ministry of Health and Wellness Campaign at the Know your Numbers Health Fair at the Montego Bay Cultural Centre, where they did blood pressure and blood sugar checks, cholesterol tests, BMI tests, dental care, and eye test for over 700 persons!!!

Mangrove clean up at Freeport hosted by Sunshine Division in association with UTech West CKI, UWI Western Jamaica CKI, and Montego Bay Marine Park on Saturday, February 11.

On February 17, Sunshine Division partnered with Mr. Smile Again Jamaica and hosted a beach clean up on the Coastline at Trumpet Call Ministries. UTECH WEST CKI | VOL 3. ISS 4 15
DAY 1 of DCON: On Friday, March 1, we had the opening ceremony and Governor’s Ball.

DAY 2 of DCON: Saturday morning, we had Personal and Development Workshops. In the afternoon, we had our district/divisional caucuses. We also met some Kiwanians.

On Saturday night we had our awards ceremony. UTech West CKI club had the most club awards!! Congratulations to our board members on getting their personal awards!!

DAY 3 of DCON: That’s a wrap!! DCON 2024 has come to an end. On Sunday we had House of delegates, district board elections and installations, and then our closing ceremony.

On Saturday, March 30, Sunshine Division had it’s Blazing Masquerade Ball at the UWI Mona Western Campus.

To the UTech West CKI family, It was a pleasure serving you for the CKI year 2023-2024.
