Dear Graduates:

Congratulations on earning your degree from the University of Richmond; this is a remarkable accomplishment!

I hope your time at Richmond has challenged you intellectually, broadened your perspective, and nurtured your desire for lifelong learning. I hope you’ve experienced a sense of belonging as part of our Spider community and formed connections and friendships you will value and foster. And I hope you’ve come to appreciate the importance of health and well-being so that wherever you go and whatever you do, you will remember to take care of yourself and look out for others.

While you celebrate, I encourage you to reflect on the help you received from staff, faculty, family members, and friends throughout your educational journey. Reach out to thank them and invite them to share in your achievements.

On behalf of the entire University of Richmond community, congratulations again, and best wishes for the years ahead. Please keep in touch and return often. We are excited to follow your accomplishments. You are, and will always be, an important part of our web.
