Academic Life
Our commitment to a holistic education will be as deeply embedded at Uppingham New Cairo as it is at historic Uppingham School in the United Kingdom and at Uppingham Cairo in New Giza. Intellectual rigour, exploration, critical analysis, creativity, calculated risk taking, communication and teamwork will be central to the way we guide, nurture and inspire our young people.
Our role is to equip our pupils with the skills, confidence and capabilities to chart their own course through life, and to develop the unshakeable sense of self that will enable them to make a meaningful impact on the world around them.
Every child’s journey through education is unique. Pupils thrive when they follow a curriculum that reflects their individual interests, aptitudes and ambitions. Through innovative teaching and a breadth of subject choices, we will create a programme of study that enables each pupil to flourish.
Academic challenge and high aspirations will sit at the heart of our provision. Through our distinctive Day Boarding programme, combined with social and community initiatives, we will encourage and inspire pupils to become self-aware, thoughtful and independent. We will help them to explore their motivations, recognise their strengths and pursue their ambitions with confidence. Our scale will allow us to offer an exceptional degree of flexibility and choice.
We will challenge and stretch every pupil in the classroom and beyond. Our curriculum will remain fresh and relevant by embracing new technologies and collaborating with leading institutions around the world to develop cutting edge learning experiences.
