ABOUT THE COLLEGE
The world of Information is exponentially expanding every moment. By creating a community to discuss our intersecting areas of interest, we can create exciting advancements in science and service to our communities. The UNT College of Information (COI) is comprised of the Departments of Information Science, Linguistics, and Learning Technologies. Through intersecting and unique areas of interest in information and technology, we create exciting advancements to our disciplines and communities. The UNT College of Information is located in Discovery Park. The 300-acre research park is the largest university research park in the North Texas region. The National Science Foundation continues to invest in collaborative, multidisciplinary research for years and universities like UNT that have an integrated approach into the way they do business. UNT is devoted to establishing labs that promote collaborations among faculty, other institutions, and corporations.
