Our diverse group of student-athletes compete on 24 varsity athletic teams, including 22 NCAA Division II teams and two spirit squads. The Oilers are members of the Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC) and have achieved new levels of competitive success both on and off the playing fields. In the classroom, the Oilers have the most students with 3.5 and higher GPAs in Division II.
You don’t have to wear a uniform to be part of our Oiler tradition. Maybe you’re passing a ball down the field, or maybe you’re on the sidelines waving an orange pompom and wearing a UF-derrick “tattoo” on your cheek. Either way, we’re all members of the same winning team.
