You’ll have easy access to Shafer Library, the Alumni Memorial Union (AMU), Mazza Museum, Hammock Park, the cardio and recreation centers, campus dining, and many other resources on site. You’ll also have access to UF’s free wifi, lounges, print stations, game equipment, and vending machines.

You’ll take what you learn in the classroom and apply it to real-world problems through internships, research projects, community service, and numerous hands-on learning opportunities. You’ll work alongside practitioners in your field, building valuable knowledge and skills — as well as your resume.
Many academic programs at Findlay also offer study abroad opportunities. Students have studied in many countries including Australia, Korea, Sweden, Italy, Ireland, Belize, India, Japan, Peru, Thailand, and England, just to name a few. You can also volunteer to serve our global community through Habitat for Humanity Global Village or the Oilers Serving Abroad program. Your adventure starts now!
You’ll be involved before you know it. Starting at Orientation, you’ll find more to do, more new people to hang out with, and even better ways to belong. The University of Findlay is home to more than 100 student organizations, from academic clubs and honor societies to Greek life and service organizations. Our diverse group of student-athletes compete on 24 varsity athletic teams, including 22 NCAA Division II teams and two spirit squads. The Oilers are members of the Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC) and have achieved new levels of competitive success both on and off the playing fields. In the classroom, the Oilers have the most students with 3.5 and higher GPAs in Division II.
You don’t have to wear a uniform to be part of our Oiler tradition. Maybe you’re passing a ball down the field, or maybe you’re on the sidelines waving an orange pompom and wearing a UF-Derrick “tattoo” on your cheek. Either way, we’re all members of the same winning team.

The Office of Financial Aid will design a package that allows you to focus on learning instead of paying —and it includes merit-based scholarships that are are automatically determined by your high school GPA. They are renewable for up to four years of full-time undergraduate study in good academic standing.

n First-time applicants: Request FSA ID for you and your contributors (this is usually a parent or guardian) at studentaid.gov/fsa-id.
n File the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) every year at fafsa.gov.
n Receive your official Financial Aid Package from the Office of Financial Aid.
n Talk over your financial aid options with your admissions counselor and contributors.
n Complete a Master Promissory Note at studentaid.gov for any federal loans.
n Complete the required entrance counseling at studentaid.gov.
n Look into Parent PLUS loan and private loan options on UF’s Financial Aid website at findlay.edu/financial-aid.
