Description
The Fullerton Chapter of the Ninety-Nines is partnering with the San Diego Chapter to give this award. The application process will utilize the Darlene Kelly Advanced Certificate/Rating Flight Training Scholarship process; and two winners will be chosen; One for the SD 99s award, and another will receive a $1,974 award - the Paoli Scholarship, in honor of Sylvia Paoli.
Scholarship Criteria
Each award may be used to help fund training for the Instrument, Commercial, Multi-Engine, or any Flight Instructor certificate. Applicants must: Be a Southwest Section Ninety-Nine (CA, AZ, NV, UT, HI); Have a current medical; Have a private pilot certificate.

Description
For would-be pilots looking towards aviation as a life goal and not a career, the Alaska Airmen partner with Joe Stancil Jr. to award a $3,000 private pilot scholarship. This scholarship is open to all Alaska residents who are in pursuit of their Private Pilot License and are planning to fly in Alaska. This includes building hours in the cockpit toward their Private Pilot License. Proof of ground school participation via a letter from an instructor or course transcripts, and CFI letters of recommendation are required.

Scholarship Criteria
Applicant intends to use their training to work in Alaska. Enrolled in an aviation related program with an accredited college, university, trade school, approved training center (Part 61, Part 141), or in current training with a Certified Flight Instructor or A & P Mechanic. High school seniors with intentions of attending an accredited aviation related program. Attended school in Alaska, and have a 3.0 GPA or higher.

Scholarship Criteria
Applicant must be female; Have solo sign-off AND written test passed for a Private Pilot License; be a member of a 99s chapter in the Ninety-Nines “Southwest Section” (CA, AZ, NV, UT, HI). The scholarship is good for one rating or certificate only. Air Transport Rating is not eligible. There is a 90-day limit to apply funds towards training.

The student applicant must be in good health and not dependent on medication or have any other disqualifying condition. The applicant must live in Santa Cruz or Monterey County. A scholarship in Nancy’s memory is awarded yearly to a student pilot with a minimum of 6 hours flight time logged. It is to be used toward completion of Private Pilot Certificate; including flight and simulator training, ground school, and test fees. Applicants must be a female resident of Western Washington, and 15 years of age or older. Must: Be a member of The Ninety-Nines; Be enrolled in a recognized ground school; Possess current medical and student pilot certificates; Provide anticipated written exam date.
