Description
The HAI Maintenance Technician Certificate Scholarship is awarded each year to up to two students studying to become aviation maintenance technicians. In addition, scholarship recipients receive: A complimentary one-year membership in HAI, the trade association for the international helicopter industry. A complimentary full registration for the scholarship recipient and a guest to HAI HELI-EXPO 2022 (hotel and travel expenses are the responsibility of the scholarship winner and guest). A subscription to ROTOR magazine and ROTOR Daily.
Scholarship Criteria
Applicants must be enrolled in a maintenance technician certificate program at an FAA-approved Part 147 school or international equivalent.

Description
Named in memory of Marshall E. Temple, founder of Temple Electronics in Houston, Texas. Temple, a U.S. Navy veteran, started his business in 1973, which has been an AEA member ever since. This scholarship is available to a high school senior or college student who plans to attend or is attending an accredited school in an avionics or aircraft maintenance program.
Scholarship Criteria
Applicants must have minimum 2.5 GPA required. Must study full-time. Must be a U.S. Citizen. Restricted to students studying Aviation/ Aerospace.

Description
National Aviation Academy’s Charles E. Taylor Scholarship, named for the first aviation mechanic, has been established to recognize and encourage students who wish to pursue careers in aviation maintenance, as well as promote the future of aviation and, more specifically, highly-trained airframe and powerplant (A&P) mechanics.
Scholarship Criteria
Must have earned your high school diploma or GED in the Fall 2021 or Spring 2022 to apply. Must reside in, or have graduated from, a high school in Pinellas, Pasco, Hillsborough, Hernando, Manatee, or Sarasota County in Florida, or Middlesex, Worcester, Essex, or Bristol County in Massachusetts. Must have an overall 2.5 Grade Point Average (GPA) or GED test score of 660 or greater.
