Dear Rector Professor Pellegrini, dear Remo, These are still special times! As mentioned in my March letter, we will manage them best by not walking alone through this situation. The University of Stuttgart has taken up an initiative to support medical personnel in the COVID-19 crisis. We would like to show our deep affiliation with the University of Bergamo by sending you protective visors made at our university. Together with industrial and research partners we manufacture protective visors in coordination with clinics. Our designs have been tested in advance by qualified personnel. The central point for assembly, logistics and shipping is the research campus ARENA2036 on the premises of the University of Stuttgart. The production is carried out voluntarily by employees of ARENA2036, the University of Stuttgart, the DLR as well as partner companies and research institutes. We would very much like to send to you 300 protective visors free of charge that you can provide for clinics and medical practices with acute needs.
