Editorial Are you trying to find out what is wrong with the world? By JG Are you trying to find out what is wrong with the world? All the disasters that have befallen it came from your bosses' attempt to evade the fact that A is A. All the secret evils that you have endured stem from your attempt to evade the fact that A is A. The purpose of those who taught you to avoid it was to make you forget that Man is Man. Man can only survive by acquiring knowledge, and reason is his only means of achieving it. The reason is the faculty that perceives, identifies, integrates the material provided by the senses. The task of the senses consists in giving man the evidence of his existence; but the identifying task belongs to his reason; your senses only tell you what something is, but what it is about must be learned by the mind. 4

All thought is a process of identification and integration. The man perceives a spot of color; integrating the evidence of his vision and his touch, he learns to identify it as a solid object; learn to identify such an object as a table; knows if the table is made of wood; You know that wood consists of cells, that cells are made up of molecules, and that molecules are made up of atoms. Throughout this process, your mind's job is to provide answers to a simple question: What is it? His means of establishing the truth of the answers is logic, and logic rests on the axiom that existence exists. Logic is the art of non-contradictory identification. A contradiction cannot exist. An atom is in itself, and the same happens with the universe; no one can contradict his own identity, nor a part contradict the whole. No concept formed by the name is valid, unless it integrates it without contradiction in the sum total of its knowledge. To arrive at a contradiction is to

confess an error of the own thought; to maintain a contradiction is to abdicate your own mind and step out of the realm of reality. Reality is what exists, the unreal does not exist; the unreal is simply that denial of existence, which forms the content of human consciousness when it tries to depart from reason. The truth is the recognition of reality; reason, the only means of human knowledge, its only rule of truth. The most depraved question you can ask is this: Whose reason! Here's the answer: yours. No matter the breadth or modesty of your knowledge, it is your mind that has to acquire it. You can only contend with your own knowledge or ask for the consideration of others about it. Your mind is your only judge of truth, and if others disagree with your verdict, reality will constitute the supreme court of appeal. Nothing, apart from the human mind, can carry out that complex, delicate, crucial process of identification that is thinking. 6

Nothing can direct such a process except human judgment itself. Nothing can direct this judgment, apart from the moral integrity of man.

Concepts A King of Long Ago By Eduardo Marty A tale written by Lewis Love called ′ ′ A King of Long Ago ′ ′ tells the story of a just and wise king from a distant land who knew well the limits of his power. His subjects were free and respected him because they knew that his main rule was not to give any privilege that could not be extended to everyone in the same way. Something that today we would call ′ ′ equality before the law ". One day a craftsman, a bricklayer, and a beggar came to court to present their complaints to the king. The craftsman said: ′ ′ I make useful things. I use my talents and still people don't pay the price I want. "

8

The next day, the bricklayer: ′ ′ raised brick walls and built houses. However , I am unemployed because nobody hires me. " The one-armed beggar was the last: ′ ′ I live on alms from someone who has the good heart to help me. However, the handouts are getting smaller and smaller. " ′ ′ I see that your problems are very big ′ ′ - said the king. '' What do you want from me?" At that moment, the three of them spoke as a group. ′ ′ Your power is too great, Your Majesty. You could make people see the insanity in their behaviors, making them help us solve our problems. " ′ ′ It is true that my power is great, but I should use it wisely. Otherwise, I will lose it ′ ′ replied the king. Still the king ordered: ′ ′ Bring three swords, one for each of these men, and teach them to wield them. They will go out into the streets and force all those who voluntarily do not obey their orders. "

′ ′ No, no! "- the three men shouted at the same time - ′ ′ It is not what we ask for. We are honest men and we could not force the next one to do our wills. We cannot do that. You, our king, must use that can." ′ ′ Do you ask me to do something that you would not do? "Asked the king. ′ ′ Is honor different for a beggar than for a king? I am also an honest man, and everything that is dishonorable to you will be dishonorable to your king. Wisdom, strength, beauty By Raimundo Collado East of Buenos Aires May 16, 2011 (e ∴ v ∴ ) "The wise are those who search for wisdom; fools think they have already found it ”(Napoleon I (1769-1821)) "The greatest wisdom that exists is to know oneself" Galileo Galilei (1564-1642). The wise man may sit on an anthill, but only the fool remains seated on it. These three determining virtues in every work represent the Omniscience, the Omnipotence and the Omnipresence of the Great Architect of the Universe manifested as principles of Truth, Activity and Love or Harmony Three words that have varied meanings and that can be interpreted in different ways, all depending on the lens with which you look at them. Wisdom, From the Latin sapere. Synonymous with sanity, judgment, prudence, brains, Science, wisdom, knowing. "Deep knowledge of things that,

associated with intelligence and experience, is the basis of prudent behavior in life." It is the expression of the inner self and is defined as a standard of ethical life based on erudition and good sense. Eastern doctrine tells us that it is the Divine Power that exists between the Creator and creation, that is, the creative energy. Represented by the Venerable Master, located in the east of the Temple, Solomon's successor, who received from the great Architect of the Universe a practical wisdom that shows us the true path, it is the simplicity of our thoughts, our actions and our acts, which They must be based on the purity of human sentiments and on innocence acquired out of all malice. In the same way the Venerable Master directs the life of the workshop. It is symbolized by the Ionic column in remembrance of the great master Pythagoras who was born in Samos (Ionia) and who evokes simplicity. It is a medium order that evokes balance. Force, “Power and condition capable of acting, modifying the latent state of things. It implies energy and authority, it demands respect. For us, force means 12

dominion over oneself. ”Represented by the Chief Warden, located in the west, it is his duty to strengthen and help the Venerable Master. It is symbolized by the Doric column for its solid shaft that denotes solidity. It is the necessary force so that the Apprentice roughs the rough stone and the Companion can give it a cubic shape and verify its angles and edges and for this they must be controlled so that the construction of the work does not suffer cracks, delays or failures. It is the vital factor that we all must cultivate and promote in the Moral, Physical and intellectual sense. Beauty, from the Latin bellus. “Very personal subjective feeling; metaphysical impression intimately associated with the pleasant and pleasing. Beauty is not only expressed in the material but very especially as a spiritual virtue ”. It is represented by the second Watchman located on the south side, at noon. It is symbolized by the Corinthian column that has delicacy, grace and preciousness. It is a gift that we must always keep pure and without blemish, in order to create or form noble and healthy

consciences, souls and hearts in the Moral and Material sense. In the construction of a building, the elaboration of the plan actually prevails: Wisdom, then Force comes and finally, the finishes are carried out: Beauty. Wisdom, Force (or Virtue) and Beauty are, by themselves, particular symbols: Beauty represents the feminine principle, Force the masculine and Wisdom is the result of the union of both principles in the third point of balance and synthesis During the Masonic initiation ceremony there is a very important moment, it is the one in which the initiate is about to receive the complete revelation of the mysteries he has passed through, the initiate is revealed what he was looking for. This revelation is however progressive as the knowledge of the initiate increases. However from the point of view of the initiated Mason, the understanding of the meaning and the interpretation of these three concepts is quite different. It begins, however, with the communication of light, which although it is only the prelude that prepares the development of the mysteries to follow, must be considered as one of the most 14

important elements of Masonic symbolism. The three principles are brought together in a single whole, in a single indissoluble symbol, forming a magnificent trilogy. Stories Poaching and exotic species. By Ricardo L. Nogara. The Human species lived and lives looking for new horizons, perhaps because man cannot bear to stay at home doing housework ... and for that reason I look for and look for excuses to crack around ... face in battles of conquest and get lost in the woods in search of some prey, a matter of returning home with something for the lady to cook and not scold him for his absence. And in this way, trees were cut down to build huge ships that crossed the oceans, and in them not only men and women went, but some little seed, or little plant that as a souvenir of their old continent would be planted in the future settlement. Later, various animal species were also moved, such as cows, sheep, horses, goats, pigs, chickens, etc. And as there was always little that they found for these payments, Mr. Luro came up with the idea of bringing to his Pampeano Establishment, deer from Europe for hunting 16

purposes, which today populate the Lanín and Nahuel Huapi National Parks, with frank expansion towards the south. Not to mention the disaster caused by bringing beavers to Ushuaia from Canada , today is certainly a serious case since this friendly bug did not find natural predators on the Big Island of Tierra del Fuego, as in its place of origin. And we better not talk about the tree species that came from the hand of man to disperse and destroy the poor natives that had adapted for millennia. It is that of the thousands of plants and hundreds of animals that were arriving, not all progressed by luck, since in places like the jungles, the ecological niches are well covered and it is very difficult for them to find a new one. But in our beloved Patagonian forest this was not the case. It's like the environment was waiting for the catastrophe to occur. And today we can see how the pines are scattered everywhere, and the willows cover the coasts of the rivers that descend from the mountain range to cross the Atlantic. The rosehip and the broom cover

the areas that were previously used for grazing, while the wild boars are increasingly sow in the populated places !!, luckily no one thought to bring bears and wolves !!. From National Parks, much work is being done to control these species, be it plants or animals or insects such as the annoying Yellow Jacket wasp that in midsummer does not let you eat in the open air because it gets into your food and if it gets you itching you have to go urgently to the hospital before your glottis closes !!. But since man did not abandon his ancestral practices of going out to look for food and not precisely to the supermarket, today we have a diversity of Hunters who arrive in San Martín de Los Andes and Bariloche to get lost in the Sports Hunting Preserves of various Estancias and also of some sectors of the Protected Area of the National Park. In Lanín, this specific area is mainly in the Lolog and Curruhue Lake Basin. And legal access to these preserves, of no less than 1500 hectares, go to public auction in the month of November, so that later, from March to May, 18

the owners of those spaces try their luck looking for a good deer or wild boar trophy, during about 7 days or as long as they have purchased for their hunt. On the other hand, in the Estancia, everything is a little more oiled, since they take care of these deer throughout the year, that is, they have them primed with salt stones and there are also large lines of Olympic fencing so that future males in heat do not go so far. It is good to clarify that in general deer hunting is done when the bug is in heat, that is, quite asshole. Outside of this period of its life, it is very difficult to hunt it, and it will not have its antlers in splendor either, since by the end of winter it turns over, and then in spring it will begin to generate a new and larger one. When I had to leave the Lolog Section, I had to give my successor the knowledge acquired from that enormous Jurisdiction that is characterized by having the best Colorado Deer Hunting Areas. That means going out on horseback through the different paths or paths that cross streams, and climb different mountains up to above the growth line of the typical trees of the mountain range such as the

Lenga that already reaches in a stumpy way up to 1700 meters above the level. from sea. It was then that when the hunting season ended, more or less at the end of April , we agreed with my colleague Park Ranger to carry out this tour, and we prepared the horses, saddles and suitcases to face some cold mountain nights. We left with the firm idea of reaching the Rincón de Los Pinos hunter's refuge. (Understand that around here the Araucaria araucana is called pine). To spend the night, considering that the days are already quite short, and you must have enough light when you arrive, to be able to gather enough firewood to allow us to cook in the salamander and of course heat the place at least until one falls asleep after share a few good drinks of the inevitable bottle of wine. We had already left the Auquinco river behind, which was still low, since the autumn rains were scarce, and at the safe pace of our horses we were lined up between walls of colihue cane and some ñires, knowing that we would soon be about to see the tin roof of the small shelter that a resident of Contra del Lago Huechulafquen built many years ago, and for 20

which he took care of moving the necessary construction materials with his catango and oxen so that this place has even a cement floor. These characters no longer exist, they were obviously other men. That they did not measure their sacrifices and enjoyed the mountain with its challenges and snowfalls that often prevented them from returning soon to the comfort of their ranches. Suddenly, and to my surprise, I smell smoke, something that should not happen, especially if it came from the shelter we were about to reach. There was only one answer, someone who was not supposed to be there, evidently he was lighting the wood stove ... That's where I just tell my partner to prepare for an unwanted encounter with possible poachers, while we drew the old 45 caliber Ballester pistols Molina to put the bullet in the mouth as is usually said, since it is not customary to travel with the weapon ready to shoot for a safety issue. We made out the roof of the shelter and the presence of two people, and that's when I said that whatever happens, we will have to spend the night with those people, and

with the hope that they are just adventurous walkers. We suddenly appeared, with holstered pistols and a strong and firm good afternoon, who are you ... what are you doing here ... at the same time that I dismounted to go without question to the interior of the shelter that was with the door open, and let me see clearly a hunting rifle leaning against the wooden wall next to a window without glass but with a hard plastic to keep out the icy wind. And there began the friendly dialogue with these characters who did not understand how we had surprised them. Luckily and at least I think so until today, they had not hunted anything, and they came from Lagunita Verde, where their wives had left them so that they could make the entire trail to Puerto Arturo, and according to them they carried the weapon in case it attacked them. some wild animal. In the midst of the questions and answers, I had already unbolted the rifle, and the men claimed they had no other weapon. We believed them but in any case we had to fulfill our duty and draw up the corresponding Act of Infringement, in addition 22

to seizing the evidence. It was just at that moment that we realized that we had not picked up a notebook, not a pencil ... nothing. Next step, my partner approaches with a neat piece of cardboard and a dead charcoal. And that's how we wrote the violation and the lock hijacking. Once the many cleared, we unsaddled the mounted ones, we tied them with the long ropes and the muzzles so that they graze, after taking them to drink water from the river. And as if we were old companions, the four of us gathered more wood for the evening and of course we shared wine and dinner. These people did not know the place very well, and since they walked on foot, I was more concerned that they reach their destination well than what they could have hunted. When I enter Parks, a phrase I read from a book on National Parks in the United States is very clear to me. "The main thing is to take care of the people of the Park and its risks." The next day, we returned unable to finish our tour program, but satisfied to surprise would-be hunters, who, in due course, showed up to pay for the infraction and

retrieve their precious short cavalry Mauser rifle. I think I prefer that Man who still has that hunter spirit ... and not the one who has no idea what it is to walk through the mountains defying the icy wind, when the time comes, that hunter will better defend the need to tell with natural areas where wif signs do not reach i. Reflections On the path of fanaticism By Enrique Arens .

On May 1, 1945, Nazi Education and Propaganda Minister Joseph Goebbels and his

wife Magda committed suicide in the besieged Berlin bunker. But first, the woman killed her six sleeping children with cyanide. Stealthily so as not to wake them, he inserted a cyanide capsule between their teeth and gently clenched their jaws for a bite. One by one he watched them convulse and die. She went from one bed to the other, taking their lives without hesitation, convinced that she was doing them good. Six times he did this! When he saw all his children dead, he bit into his own capsule. It is known that the Goebbels loved their six little ones very much, and we can imagine that those poor creatures fell asleep that night confident in the protection of their loving parents. This horror is perhaps the greatest example of fanaticism in memory, at least in modern times. The Goebbels were convinced that it was not worth living in another world other than National Socialism. How do you get to that crazy state? Sometimes we attribute exacerbated fanaticism to people of mediocre culture or little education. It's a mistake. Goebbels was a doctor of philosophy, graduated in 1922 and 26

came from a Catholic family. This case of absolute fanaticism shows us that a solid academic training, or the moral influence of a superior religion, does not guarantee that a normal person is safe from that disease of the soul that is fanaticism. We are all exposed to falling into that black hole if we get too close to its dangerous edges. According to the dictionary, a fanatic is the person who defends with excessive tenacity and blind passion, certain beliefs or opinions, especially religious or political. But this definition doesn't tell us much. There are harmless fanaticisms, like that of a soccer fan; or that of the young people who follow a certain musical band; and even that of certain groups that love classical ballet, capable of spending whole nights in the open to get a good location in the theater. The problem arises with political, religious and even scientific ideas , where the disease of fanaticism usually spreads with the speed of a forest fire. It is in this type of fanaticism where the peaceful coexistence of society comes into serious danger.

Ortega y Gasset talks about fanaticism without using that word. In The theme of our time, he refers to the radicalization of ideas originated in pure reason. When analyzing the process of change of humanity from the collective tribe towards individuality, it reminds us that when the human being repudiates everything traditional, everything that he has inherited from his ancestors, and clings to reason, he is forced to rebuild the universe by itself, using the understanding. "From this moment," writes the Spanish thinker, "two antagonistic forces act in the soul of each man: tradition and reason." And he concludes, categorically, that this geometric way of thinking was called rationalism, when perhaps it was more appropriate to call it radicalism. And continuing with his reasoning, Ortega makes us see clearly that the few important revolutions in history, such as the French one of 1789, have been essentially political radicalism, and that one is not radical in politics if one has not been radical in politics before. the thought. It is when you turn your back on reality, when people fall in love with 28

ideas to the point of forgetting that the goal of any idea is to coincide with reality. Paraphrasing the words of Jesus when he preached on the Sabbath, we could affirm: Ideas were made for reality, not reality for ideas. Only on momentous occasions, such as the French Revolution, is reality modified by ideas. But this phenomenon has only occurred when luminous ideas, always led by enlightened and radicalized minorities, received the very rare and providential accompaniment of an effervescent society that collectively felt the need for great change. But the revolutions are over. Now the radicalized or fanatics usually appear alone, orphans of popular support and usually very resentful and angry. Contemporary societies try as a general rule that ideas are put at the service of real life. Fanaticism is a process that travels a fatal route: it begins with a daze at some unknown "truth" (proven or fictitious) that has suddenly, unexpectedly, reached the consciousness of a person in a receptive state; it continues to advance with a slow maturation in which a feverish search for information, readings, interpersonal contacts,

meetings, etc. intervenes, and ends in a strong mobilizing and often excessive conviction. A certain inner emptiness, a strong existential uncertainty, a crisis of faith and hope (politically, economically, sentimentally or religiously) and a deep dissatisfaction and disgust with oneself are the perfect substrate. The person has found surprising responses to their uneasiness and is dazzled. Then there is a sudden conversion, the subject changes his perspective of life or the afterlife, and in his psychology a pleasant feeling of security and, sometimes, superiority arises. It is as if now a steel armor protects him in his fragility. But there is still no reason to be alarmed: this process is normal and does not necessarily lead to fanaticism. An ideological, political or religious mutation (and, if I may, even of sexual identity) is the healthy path that we have all traveled at some time. But in the same process we are threatened by a threat. The path or path of conversion does not stop there, in the lucid and realistic conviction: it continues on its tempting and comfortable path, and climbs 30

towards ever higher and more attractive regions of abstract thought. And it is possible that intellectual curiosity, or simple and treacherous personal vanity, does not allow us to see that in a certain section of the route there is a border marked by common sense that we must never cross. "We got here, let's not go on," warns us a prudent voice from our intuition. But not all of us listen to it. If by temperament we are people inclined to extreme positions, or if simply passion makes us lose sight of the guiding principle that says that all truth is always relative, questionable and subject to new points of view that modify or contradict it; or if through intellectual carelessness (or ignorance) we stop keeping in mind what Ortega taught us: that thought must always be at the service of reality and not the other way around, we can end up, almost without realizing it, in a kind of denialism towards everything that threatens to strip us of that armor that keeps us safe from, precisely, the harsh reality. But let's take a look at the interesting process by which a convert becomes a fanatic. I

think it can happen in one of these two scenarios: First scenario: Let the conversion phenomenon take us without transition, in a single jump, from apathy to fanaticism: the case, for example, of the non-believer converted by a rare mental click into a Jehovah's Witness missionary who rings the bells of houses to save souls before the end of the World; or the leftist boy, well-intentioned, in solidarity with the disinherited, dreamer of a more just and equitable world, who is suddenly trapped in the narrow mental cell of dogmatic and violent Trotskyism; or the young woman who legitimately defends her rights against the aftertaste of a machismo in decline but still persistent, and who, attracted, who knows with what tricks, by the radical feminist collective, ends up half-naked in the street screaming idiotic things like this: "I want to go home alone and drunk!"; or, finally, the discreet homosexual, peacefully integrated into a society today quite plural and tolerant, who is inadvertently taken to the military in the gay, bisexual, lesbian and trans lobby, where he will participate in those 32

embarrassing marches of «gay pride» in which the Church and the entire society are attacked with destruction, obscene defacing and unjustified and gratuitous provocations. Second scenario: That the conversion begins with a normal change (political or religious) but that along the way the convert continues towards extreme positions where thought is no longer at the service of reality and reality becomes subordinate to thought. For example: The person who has reached the cultural hierarchy of liberalism, who has traveled with growing enthusiasm the route of the different stages of his learning and training in all the schools that have nurtured with their contributions to this modern doctrine, and who suddenly , packed with mysterious stimuli, perhaps the influence of some fashionable character, she begins by changing her name: she is no longer a liberal, now she calls herself a libertarian. If you ask me what the difference is between a liberal and a libertarian, I would say - without being very sure - that it is a certain intransigence in the latter's ideas, something like the shielding of a dogmatic bloc without

fissures, without realistic or political concessions; and a marked inability to debate ideas without grievances or intolerances. Some libertarians stop there, a little over the line but not too much; others do not, others end up at the top of the road to fanaticism, calling themselves "anarcho-capitalists." Original idea of the Austrian Murray Rothbard. (Later I will return to this magical thought that rages among many young liberals). Winston Churchill defined the fanatic with these words: "A fanatic is a person who cannot change his mind and who does not want to change the subject." When we have crossed the line of fanaticism, we no longer want to listen to the theses that oppose our beliefs, we do not accept another look at our closed certainty. (To give a current example: What today we call the hard core of Kirchnerism, is a huge group of fanatics who will never accept that their leaders deserve jail for being a gang of criminals). In the debate, if the debate is possible, we will only look for an escape route, an argument that allows us to reply to the 34

adversary, if it is in a bad way, the better, to win the discussion. We use whatever it takes to reaffirm our unshakable convictions. And, as Churchill said, in that state of excitement we are incapable of a friendly truce to talk about something else and not fight. We do n't want to change the subject. That aggressive and repellent attitude alienates family, co-workers and friends from the fanatic. He ends up surrounded by other fans who think like him, giving each other a handle on his abstract ideas. "When they flee from me, I am the wings," wrote the cursed poet Charles Baudelaire. And it is very difficult, if not impossible, to return from that state of mental blockage to the calm of normality, of the person who has clear ideas and firm convictions, but who, above all, has values. And values, unlike ideas, are not changed. In a liberal, one of the first values to always bear in mind is tolerance and unrestricted respect for those who think differently.

On the religious level, fanaticism tends to be the norm. In some evangelical churches, in the esoteric sects or in the different currents of Islam (I do not consider terrorist fundamentalism here) and in ultra-Orthodox Judaism, fanaticism is the first condition: the teachings and traditions must be obeyed and not questioned ancestral. All individuality is crushed by the collectivism imposed by the brotherhood. The Roman Catholic Church does not induce fanaticism today, but it still prohibits its faithful from discussing or questioning what the "fortunate" theorists of the Magisterium have solved, that is, those theologians who with imagination and creativity wrote the catechetical rules and achieved, with good luck, introduce reforms without being burned (in other times) accused of heresiarchs. The Second Vatican Council was a great advance in the modernization of the Church, but there it stayed. Almost nothing has been advanced since then. Sex outside of marriage, homosexuality, the female priesthood or the 36

proposal of a voluntary and non-obligatory priestly celibacy is still taboo. Nor is the Catholic Church free of fanatics, although it does not encourage them. From those who take communion every day to those who practice that repulsive, quasi- sexual fetishism of caressing the feet of the images of the saints in the temples; from those who inflict physical punishment for their sins (silicon, common in some congregations), to those devoted ladies who spend their lives in the parish cleaning and changing flowers, washing and ironing the altar folders and the underpants of the church like slaves. cure. But the curious thing is that even in the world of science there is fanaticism, although in this case the dangerous section of the route attracts more fans, since, in general terms, the true scientist, due to his Popperian training (I want to believe it ), is aware that there are no scientific evidences but provisional corroborations always subject to refutations and changes. "The opposite of the truth is not the lie but certainty", said Emmanuel Carrère. And what does the motto of the Royal

Society of London say? Nullius in verba (There are no final words). But there are the "science" fans who passionately believe in facts that they consider definitive and indisputable. For example: the presence of aliens among us, and it seems that for centuries; or the "flat earthers", convinced that the photos of the spherical Earth sent to us by the thousands by satellites in orbit and space shuttles on their different missions, are montages concocted by the world leaders of the superpowers to dominate us. And what about the anti-vaccine groups? There are doctors and even philosophers among them. They deny the extraordinary scientific advance that was meant for humanity, from Fleming to the present day, the vaccination that ended with terrible diseases such as smallpox, bubonic plague, polio, tuberculosis, rabies, among many others, some of them pandemic that they exterminated up to a third of the European population. Currently, in the midst of this Covid-19 pandemic, there are millions of people in the world who refuse to receive any of the available vaccines. In the US alone, it is 38

estimated that a quarter of its population does not want to be vaccinated. But now I want to focus on the route that leads to that deviation from liberalism called anarcho-capitalism. I will begin by saying that anarchocapitalists make up a compendium of paradoxes and contradictions. They say that they do not seek power, which is logical because, if they oppose all state authority, they could hardly seek for themselves the authority they repudiate. In this sense they seem coherent, but if we look at it carefully, this position is paradoxical and even impossible to be taken seriously. If they intend to repeal the Constitution because it is the origin of the laws and state authority, the first thing they have to do is to form a majority constituent assembly. There must be a preceding power to achieve the revolutionary goal of ending power. So if the anarcho-capitalists do not seek power, how do they intend to achieve their purposes? By weapons? Impossible: the use of force forces a militarized organization with a centralized

command and severe disciplinary rules. And when they came to power, assuming they did so with the use of violence? Should they abolish themselves with their first decree? On the other hand, supposing that by a process not yet thought of or, as far as I know, theorized by anyone, it would be possible to end all coercive power, it is unthinkable that one hundred percent of the inhabitants of a legally "disorganized" country would agree with it. to live without law and without authority, therefore, anyone would have the freedom to found a political party and propose the formation of a government and a new rule of law. It would be inconceivable that in an anarcho-capitalist nation where full individual freedom must prevail, something or someone tries to prevent a citizen from wanting to run for president, king or emperor and seek and obtain great popular support, which would create a new power. Or several regional powers that would soon confront each other. We would return to the time of anarchy with provincial leaders prior to the organization of 1853. 40

I recognize, speaking seriously now, that in the purely intellectual sphere it is exciting to think that perhaps in the future human culture will reach such a height that we can live in total freedom without the need for laws or authorities to apply them (Alberto Benegas Lynch, Jr., he analyzes it very well in his book Towards self-government). But in the real world things are very different, very violent, too cruel to do without law and order. Psychopaths do exist (manipulators, slavers, oppressors and exploiters of women and children, torturers and serial killers). The psychopath suffers from the psychiatric disorder determined by the criminal mind, he is someone who enjoys hurting, humiliating or destroying others, and who has no remorse of conscience or feelings of guilt. Well, these patients have no cure. Who would take care of them? Perhaps in the future science and culture will make us all good, perhaps even the Ten Commandments can be abrogated without consequences. It would be a new reality that would give rise to other ideas. But let us recognize that for now it is

even impossible to live in a PH building without a co-ownership regulation and a board of directors so that the consortiums respect the rights of their neighbors and do not end up killing each other. (In the anarcho-capitalist literature we find proposals to put security and the service of justice in the hands of competing private companies, ideas so divorced from reality that they do not merit the effort of analyzing them). Engineer Álvaro C. Alsogaray used to say: «Order without freedom is dictatorship. Freedom without order is anarchy ». Clearer, impossible. For political thought, anarchy was always vituperable and synonymous with folly. But now that same concept transvestite in magical thinking that conceives a world without authority and without law has burst into the liberal world, beginning with abolishing the Alberdi Constitution, which establishes a republican form of government with three independent powers. The freedom with order that Alsogaray spoke of implies the existence of that government devised by Alberdi, whose power 42

of coercion is limited to defending the life and property of people, and that this authority cannot interfere in the private spheres of action of each person. On the other hand, the North American Leonard Read (founder of the Libertarian party of the USA and creator of the term libertarian because the democrats and progressives of his country had seized the word "liberal"), wrote in his book Why not rehearse freedom? that the State, as an apparatus that holds the monopoly of force, is not "a necessary evil", as some resigned liberals tend to believe. On the contrary, he said, if it fulfills its specific functions and does not go beyond those functions, it is a positive good. Herbert Spencer, author of The Individual Against the State, was an anarchist. (Borges declared himself a Spencerian anarchist). But Spencer did not deny the existence of authority, only limited it to functions of defense of liberty, life and property. On the other hand, anarcho-capitalism is an idea of the Austrian economist Murray

Rothbard, which could be synthesized as follows: Free market in the absence of state law. Although it seems to me a total utopia, a concept incompatible with human nature, I accept that it is an interesting idea for intellectual debate, but very toxic to take it to the field of politics and to consider it to a society that I created today more than ever. in the present state. We want a present state! Today the most prestigious international pollsters discover this majority clamor in free societies around the world. That is the reality that we now have to deal with. There is a lot of discussion about this on social media. But I am not so concerned about the anarcho-capitalists as the so-called libertarians who are already treading the border that leads to fanaticism. Some time ago I dared to write on Facebook two dissenting opinions on the walls of two libertarian "friends". In one, I was vulgarly disrespected, and in the other, I received from a journalist whom I always respected and even quoted with praise in my writings, an allusion of contempt enclosed in a single word that was not even addressed to 44

me. (A real lesson, I admit, of the art of injury that Jorge Luis Borges analyzes in his book Historia de la eternidad). And I, who have been a liberal for more than sixty years, ask myself puzzled: how is it possible that the liberal ideology, which was always based on pluralism of ideas, on free and respectful debate, and on the enriching diversity of individual opinions , has become a collective of magical, unique and authoritarian thought? Of course, they are not all liberals, but many of those who have adopted the denomination of "Libertarians", unsuspecting travelers on the route that is leading them towards radicalization, or the anarchocapitalists, who have already crossed that border, cultivate an aggressive style, intolerant and in some cases even insulting towards the moderate liberal who dares to give an individual opinion (right or wrong). What happened to us? Are we still talking about the same thing when we pronounce the beautiful word "Freedom"? Has liberalism, in its libertarian or anarchic versions, changed the open ideas that are always subject to debate and revision of classical liberalism for a catalog

of absolute certainties that does not tolerate dissent? It would seem that yes, that it has erected a kind of magical, almost religious ideology, a unique and intolerant thought that conceives the social order of freedom as a static and immovable dogma. All or nothing. They are people who neglected themselves and act like the revolutionaries of the past, putting ideas before reality, but without realizing that there is no longer that social effervescence, that collective disgust for everything old, that accompanies a total break with traditions. and the past. Fortunately, the most qualified human reserve of liberalism retains the ability to think independently and with some Popperian critical sense. Nobody disputes that theoretical, doctrinal, investigative liberalism can and should seek theoretical perfection in the aseptic cabinet, because that is its mission. But political liberalism must have its feet on the ground, shake off the drag of many "isms" globs that sometimes infiltrate and pollute it (nationalism, militarism, etc.), and speak with non-liberal people, who are also human beings 46

, without superiority, trying to exchange ideas to convince them. If it is a question of giving a great cultural battle that will require a lot of patience and teaching time, we cannot feel ourselves owners of the revealed truth. Present Do what I say, but not what I do. By Serena Bentancur Fabiano. , José Alberto Sumid is an Argentine refrigerated businessman, politician and chess player. He served as a provincial deputy between 1987 and 1991, when he was elected by the Frente Justicialista de Renovación, led by Raúl Othacehé. Between 2014 and 2016, he served as vice president of the Central Market of Buenos Aires. He is the son of Nélida Aluch and Julio Samid, Syrian immigrants. Although he was born in the city of Buenos Aires, he grew up in La Matanza. He is known as the "king of meat", he had a butcher empire in the metropolitan area of Buenos Aires. a

political

Alberto Samid has been part of party that introduced the 48

Estadolatria in Argentina with great force and vehemence. The Justicialismo historically has considered that what more they have more taxes they must pay. In this way, a tax system has been created that prevents growth and investment in the country. Tax evasion in countries like Argentina with high tax pressure is usually the only way for many companies and individuals to survive when it comes to paying taxes. The meat businessman Alberto Samid was sentenced to four years in prison for having integrated an illicit association that evaded taxes during the 1990s. That is, Samid evaded taxes during the government of which he was part. A few days ago, he was discovered violating house arrest and was fired by a couple of women. Some regard Samid as a tax-evading hero and unworthy of any escrache. The "king of meat" was clear that he could not grow if he paid the taxes that the State imposed on him. But as a Justicialist legislator, he never presented projects for the

tax reduction nor did he depart from ideas such as the Peronists that impede the growth and development of nations. Personally, I think it is fair for Samid to serve a sentence for having been a tax evader since he defended the ideas of the present State, social justice and where there is a need there is a right. The "butcher" must submit to the laws that he promoted and deserves social rejection for non-compliance. The lack of coherence between what is said and what is done is reprehensible. If you thought that taxes were high in Argentina, you should as a legislator promote a law to lower them or be an opponent of Peronism. While he imposed governments on us that hanged the private sector, he did not pay taxes. Those of us who do not support Peronism can defend ourselves by doing what needs to be done with a state that puts its hand in your pocket.

They taught us that evading taxes is bad. The bad thing is confiscating half of our annual income through taxes. The bad thing is not letting us live because we have to pay taxes. Samid is guilty and an accomplice of the high tax burden that Argentines suffer.

Republicans United

The party Republicanos Unidos is a political party that aims to recover the ideas that made our country a power and position freedom again as the fundamental pillar for life in society, economic development and institutional quality. We believe that the key to reversing Argentina's decline is in respect for individual rights, equality before the law, private initiative and the right of each person to seek their own happiness.

What differentiates Republicans Unidos from other parties? Internal democracy: the end of the sheet list is one of the fundamental commitments in the creation of Unidos. Any affiliate of the party who so wishes may be a candidate, starting from an internal election where the Single Transferable Vote (VUT) system will channel the opinions of the members and define those selected for the list and the order in which they will be located. The intolerable practice of “hand-picking” candidates for elective office is avoided. Openness: solid internal democracy guarantees the possibility that any citizen who shares the principles enshrined by the party can join. The intention is to help the ideological space never be divided into elections. The guarantees for those who wish to enter and participate in the internal elections will be the same as for those who already take part. The party will thus consolidate itself as a lasting institution, a tool for union and a guarantee of representativeness.

60

Antipersonalism: the internal division of powers from which the executive authorities of the party will not be able to run for elective positions guarantees that no personalism acquires a preponderant role, remaining as the central axis the ideas promoted by the party in its declaration of principles and its bases of political action. Innovation: attentive to technological advances and the context in which it arises, those of us who constitute Unidos are aware of the need to adopt technology in their daily operations, and for this we are dedicated to the development of a mobile application. This app will be the vehicle for affiliates to actively participate and decide in internal elections to define pre-candidates. Who is it? We are simply ordinary people of all ages, who work and study like any other, who enter politics from personal detachment , thinking that Argentina is being changed by a change in Society. We want for Argentina a change from the roots, and we decided to bring the ideas of

freedom to the political field, to allow development and improve the quality of life. What do we want in politics? Our incorporation into the National Congress, the provincial legislatures and the deliberative councils in each municipality will give the space and the entire ideological sector an exponential boost. With a legislative presence, it will be possible to propose real turns in public policy, and give the ideas of freedom an unprecedented visibility and impact in recent years. We invite you to join this proposal. In the following link you can see all the information. https://unidosargentina.org/index.html Something new is needed.

Riddles solution Out of the law If Arturo were the one who tells the truth, Gustavo would be lying and therefore Gustavo would be the culprit, not David as Arturo says. This is why Arturo lies by blaming David. That is the same if David tells the truth. if it were David who was telling the truth, Gustavo would be lying. and therefore what David said would be a lie. It also happens with Antonio, if Antonio told the truth, Gustavo would be the culprit (because he would be lying), furthermore, if Antonio told the truth, and we put aside the fact that only one tells the truth, there would be no culprit, I don't know I could deduce with Antonio's information who is the culprit, only Antonio's innocence would be proven. Therefore it is completely undoubted that Gustavo did it. ------------------------------------------------At the science fair: Juan was first, René second and Luis third.
