CHILD CARE March 30 - June 12 Monday - Thursday, 4pm-8pm* SRC North Conference Room The SRC Child Care Center offers a wide variety of educational games, activities and services designed to keep your child engaged and happy whilst you exercise and take part in our programs here at the Rec Center**. Our talented staff are trained extensively to provide a safe, welcoming and nurturing environment for your children. The Child Care Center provides the following services to our families: • Friendly and proactive child care staff who are first aid trained • A safe, educational and nurturing environment • Educational toys, games and activities • Homework supervision • Board games for kids of all ages • Arts and crafts sessions • A wide variety of suitable children’s movies such as Coco, Moana and The Good Dinosaur • The service is free to all SRC Members*** The Child Care Center allows you to accomplish your workout or attend a class confident in the knowledge that your child is in the capable supervision of the Child Care team.

*Children may stay for a maximum of 2 hours each day. **Child Care Center service may vary on holidays, please check with Rec Center. ***Parents/guardians must be in the SRC at all times when using Child Care services.

CAMP HIGHLANDER SPRING BREAK YOUTH LEADERSHIP CAMP March 23 - 26 Thursday - Thursday, 7:45am - 5:45pm Register by March 21 Camp Highlander hosts its first youth leadership camp for 12-15 year olds with extensive selections of indoor and outdoor activities. Teens focus on developing their leadership and teambuilding skills through activities like archery, climbing and belaying, swimming, karate, lifeguarding, outdoor pursuits, astronomy, physics, entomology and much more. This highly focused camp shares a common philosophy of encouraging healthy life choices and developing those important soft skills like socializing, decision making, brainstorming, conflict resolution and adaptability. SRC Camp Highlander offers extensive selections of both outdoor and indoor activities as well as sports. We provide a broad academic focus combining fun and engaging activities with educational elements including physics, mathematics and botany. These highly captivating camps share a common philosophy of encouraging good choices and fostering a healthy lifestyle among youths. Furthermore, the program promotes diversity, inclusion and a love for the outdoors. Registration is available online. May 22 -25 Friday - Monday, Departs at 3pm Register by May 20 Big Bear Lake Held at UCR’s beautiful lake house in the San Bernardino Mountains, this weekend camp for youths and teens, aged 9-15 years, focuses on developing their leadership and teambuilding skills through activities like hiking, outdoor pursuits, sports, Leave No Trace workshop, first aid, botany, creative writing, wilderness survival and much more.
