We would like to take this opportunity to highlight achievements of employees who have gone above and beyond to protect themselves and their colleagues. Here are the top picks for this quarter.
GOOD CATCH
Tylor Brazan - Honeywell UOP - Baton Rouge, Louisiana

While removing a filter on a slurry tank, Tylor was asked if he could remove a plate from the adjacent pump. Tylor explained that he was not permitted to remove the plate until another work permit was issued, which it was.
STOP WORK
Kaleb Dencausse - OxyChem - Geismar, Louisiana
Kaleb stopped work because he recognized that the lockout/tagout did not match the pump tagged on the work package he was assigned. After investigating the issue with operations, it was determined that the work package was written for the wrong pump.
JSA+
Hayden Bennett, Brent Buckalew, James Martin, and Duncan WoerthBridgestone - La Vergne, Tennessee
No matter if the project is big or small, this crew consistently has detailed JSAs that give clear and concise information on their work processes and ensure a high level of safety on each project.

What It Takes to Get the Job Done Right
Turner Specialty Services Soars with Drones for Pipe Rack Inspections
Turner Specialty Services’ NDE and inspections group recently completed a groundbreaking project, incorporating the power of drone technology to inspect over 2,000 feet of elevated pipe racks. This innovative approach enhanced safety, efficiency, and data accuracy.
Traditionally, inspecting elevated pipe racks involved time-consuming and potentially hazardous tasks. These tasks can be costly, laborintensive, and pose safety risks to personnel.
To overcome these obstacles, TSS deployed the Elios 3 drone inspection system. With high-resolution cameras, sensors, and a protective cage, the Elios 3 allowed the team to safely and efficiently inspect multiple tiers of pipes, valves, and electrical components.
The Elios 3 eliminated the need for hazardous work at heights, significantly reducing risks to personnel. With the help of TSS employees, the Elios completed the inspection of 2,000 feet of pipe rack in just two days with 39 flights, a substantial reduction compared to traditional methods. During its count, it was also able to capture 4K videos, 12MP images, and precise LiDAR point clouds, providing detailed insights into the condition of the pipe rack infrastructure.
Structurally, the drone is more efficient compared to traditional methods. It can navigate tight, enclosed spaces with confidence, thanks to its protective cage and the LiDAR sensor, which enabled the team to precisely locate any points of interest and created a 3D model of the structure.

Turner Industries Expands Services at Shell Houston Lubricants Plant
Turner Industries has expanded its service offerings at the Shell Houston Lubricants facility in Galena Park, Texas. Originally contracted for packaging/warehouse operations and SIPA services, Turner has now taken on the responsibility for all on-site mechanical services and janitorial needs with a nested workforce. The consolidation of services by Turner as the sole provider offers Shell Lubricants both cost savings and increased operational efficiency. Turner’s inspection services team has also developed a cost-saving strategy for Shell’s 2025 inspection requirements, while ensuring full compliance with PSM/API standards.

Multi-Team Turner
Effort Completes
Lubrizol Tank Project
Turner Industries completed a five-month renovation project at the Lubrizol facility in Pasadena, Texas, which included tank work. The job was completed with the help of various Turner teams, including the capital projects, SIPA, and crane and rigging groups, as well as the Turner Specialty Services NDE and inspections group.
Turner demolished a tank and its pump, installed a new nitrogen line, and then installed a new tank. The team also installed and replaced safety features such as the pressure and relief valves. Additionally, Turner added a steam jacket to regulate the temperature of the tanks and replaced numerous other pipes and valves. The project required over 18,000 work hours and included 57 safety checks. With a crew of up to 55 people working on-site, the project was completed without any close calls, first aid incidents, or recordable accidents.
“The teamwork was excellent between Turner and Lubrizol, and we appreciate Lubrizol’s dedication and support . Everyone showed up with a positive attitude and put in the effort to finish the project safely.” — Turner Industries M aintenance S uperintendent Jim Wilson
Smart Solutions Drive Value at
Enterprise Mont Belvieu
Turner Industries believes that cost savings, no matter how small, contribute to a client’s overall success. For example, this commitment was recently demonstrated at Enterprise Mont Belvieu, where Turner recently implemented a few cost-saving initiatives.
Turner’s site team discovered several opportunities to streamline the uniform program. By adjusting the number of FR uniform sets, the team achieved cost reductions for the client.
“We ’re constantly looking for ways to work smarter,” said Travis Osborn, site manager for Turner Industries at the Enterprise Mont Belvieu site. “Sometimes it's the small details that add up to make a big difference.”

In a second initiative, the Turner team identified an opportunity to replace 14 leased trucks with just three Turner vans. This change not only reduced costs but delivered important safety benefits by reducing the number of vehicles in operation.
Both initiatives demonstrate Turner’s ongoing commitment to finding cost-saving solutions that benefit its clients while reinforcing the importance of safety and operational excellence.
SIPA Group Successfully Completes Work for Chemours Turnaround
Turner Industries’ SIPA group has successfully assisted the Chemours facility in Corpus Christi, Texas with a major plant turnaround (TAR) and expansion project. The projects, which included a total plant turnaround, an expansion, and ongoing maintenance, were completed while the SIPA group achieved a three-year recordable-free safety milestone at the Chemours site.

In 2024, Chemours embarked on a large-scale expansion and total plant turnaround, presenting the SIPA group with the challenge of managing multiple complex projects simultaneously. With a peak headcount of 280 employees, the SIPA group navigated any challenges with precision,

Bay City Facility
Turner Industries is helping to support the implementation of revolutionary methyl

Beginning in mid-December, Turner stepped in and quickly mobilized a team of approximately 60 employees to the site. What started as capital expenditure support has evolved into commissioning services, with plans to transition into full maintenance
“We know Turner Industries as a reliable partner from the past and are happy to build on this partnership and extend it to our new site in Bay City, Texas. With the support of Turner Industries, we will bring a first-of-its-kind technology to produce methyl methacrylate (LiMA technology) to life,” said Hans-Peter Hauck, chief operating officer at Roehm.
Turner’s maintenance group is currently providing general mechanical and SIPA (Scaffolding, Insulation, Painting, and Abatement) services, while other teams contribute specialized expertise in construction, rope access, and commissioning.
As Roehm approaches the final stages of its construction phase, Turner teams are providing daily support with all necessary resources to help achieve the plant’s startup goals. Roehm selected Turner Industries specifically for its ability to provide a single-source solution across multiple service disciplines. This integrated approach allows for streamlined coordination and enhanced efficiency as the facility implements its innovative LiMA technology for methyl methacrylate production.

THE LNG I NDUSTRY M OVING

Just a generation ago, liquefied nat ural gas (LNG) was a footnote of America’s energy production. Today, LNG is a main focal point of Ameri ca’s energy strategy and international trade. What caused this seismic shift? Through groundbreaking develop ments in extraction technology, the U.S. transformed from a nation depen dent on LNG imports to becoming the world's leading exporter, all within the span of a single decade.

This transformation, sparked by the shale revolution of the late 2000s, has strengthened the American economy, contributing billions to the GDP with projections to double its economic impact by 2040.
America is one of unexpected oppor tunity, technological innovation, and strategic positioning in an increasingly energy-dependent world—a perfect mix that has turned the sector into a cornerstone of our national energy security and economic growth.
