Our Story TST Engineering Ltd. is part of an international network founded in 1999, with offices in Dublin, Italy and Taiwan.

Since the beginning of the development of GPR for underground mapping (mid 1980,s) TST has been at the forefront of this development thereby gaining and developing our knowledge and unique mapping system software and programmes so as to bring the highest quality maps to our clients. TST continues to be at the cutting edge of mapping technologies and systems.

Subsurface Utility Mapping Due to the large quantity of underground utilities laid beneath the ground surface, the mapping of these utilities has become ever so critical prior to civil works, to assist in avoiding striking these utilities thereby preventing causing damage, the reduction of the high cost of a repair, and delays within any project, but most importantly the safety of those operators working in the vicinity of these utilities.

The survey is conducted according to the PAS 128:2014 at any quality level and type chosen by the Client.

TST Engineering Ltd provides customized outcomes to any Clients’ request; a wide range of layouts are available, including simple mark-out on site, 2D and 3D rendered digital maps.

3D Rendering When requested by the Client, TST Engineering Ltd can easily generate a 3D rendered model of its surveys.

Topographical survey – Laser scanner TST Engineering operates with the patented Scan&Go System (www.scan-go.eu). The system operates with a laser scanner mounted on the top of a telescopic pole (6 meter high) which allows the scanner to get ground level information from up to 100meters away. Each scan will be georeferenced thanks to a GPS located on the top of the laser scanner and another one in front of the vehicle where the system is mounted. This makes the vehicle a mobile survey station that can move from one point to another. This system can guarantee the acquisition of all the points necessary to create a topographical map, the range of the laser scanner also gives us the ability to complete the topographical survey with minimal access to landowners land. With the point cloud generated by the laser scanner, TST Engineering is capable of easily draw a 2D and 3D map, generate TIN models and satisfy all the needs of its Clients.

The 3D map so created will be processed by our engineering team to produce a BIM Model at the Client’s request.
