Dr. Nash Ryder is currently a violinist in the New World Symphony in Miami. Beginning his studies at the age of seven at the New England Conservatory of Music Preparatory School, Nash earned his B.M. and M.M. in violin performance from the Juilliard School and was the first student in the institution’s history to receive both undergraduate honors and an accelerated graduate degree. He later received his Doctor of Musical Arts degree from the Eastman School of Music.

Nash has shared the stage with renowned artists, composers, conductors and played with several orchestras throughout his career including the Florida Orchestra, the Portland Symphony Orchestra, and the Venice Symphony. Passionate about music education and string pedagogy, he is a Teaching Artist and mentor. Since 2015 Dr. Ryder has been an avid supporter of Ashley’s Learning Centre.
Born in San Juan, Puerto Rico, violinist Hosanna Carella is a second-year Violin Fellow at the New World Symphony. A top prizewinner in competitions in the United States and Puerto Rico, Ms. Carella completed her bachelor’s, master’s and professional studies degrees at the Cleveland Institute of Music (CIM). During that time, she served as Concertmaster of the CIM orchestra and was a member of the Advanced Piano Trio Program. Ms. Carella has performed with the Canton Symphony, Akron Symphony, Cleveland Pops and Firelands Symphony.

Emily Yoshimoto is a third-year Cello Fellow at the New World Symphony. She began her studies at age three with Barbara Wampner and later with Jean-Michel Fonteneau.
