Speaker line-up announced for Western Women with Drive in Calgary April 30

OTTAWA, ON (March 20, 2025) — Trucking HR Canada (THRC), in partnership with the Western provincial trucking associations, is pleased to announce the full speaker line-up for this year’s Western Women with Drive (April 30, Calgary Airport Marriott Hotel).

 Keynote speaker: Internationally renowned psychologist Dr. Jody Carrington guides individuals and organizations through the intricacies of re-establishing relationships in today's increasingly disconnected society. Dr. Jody wows audiences everywhere she goes with her hilarious and highly relatable approach.

 Morning kick-off speaker: Angela Champ delivers a presentation that will inspire and motivate attendees who are focused on attracting more women to our sector. Named as one of Canada’s top 20 HR leaders on the HRD Global 100 and on The Most Inclusive HR Influencer list, she is a career and leadership expert who regularly appears in the media including Breakfast Television and CTV Morning Live Vancouver.

 New insights from THRC research into women in trucking and logistics that invites employers to revisit their attraction/retention strategy.

 Western Canada’s provincial trucking associations take the stage - BCTA, AMTA, STA, and MTA representatives - to share workforce strategies in their regions in an exclusive panel discussion.
