Every graduate is equipped to think truthfully, act justly, and live faithfully for the good of the world and the glory of God.
In 1962, an extraordinary dream began—to establish a Christian university in Canada, a place for equipping students to set the foundation for a full and meaningful life.
Trinity Western has since grown to become Canada’s largest faith-based university and one of North America’s premier global Christian universities, offering a full range of undergraduate and graduate degrees, including professional schools in business, education, human kinetics, nursing, and clinical psychology.
Every year, more than 5,000 students from over 75 countries experience an academically excellent liberal arts and sciences education, while being formed within a Christ-centred, student-focused, and globally engaged community of faithful thinkers and joyful believers.
At Trinity Western, students are equipped to actively participate in effecting positive change in the world.
Canada is a safe and welcoming country known for its high-quality education and ample work opportunities. Located on the West Coast, British Columbia offers a mild climate throughout the year.
The province is multi-ethnic and recognized as one of the top locations to find work for those coming from overseas, with a second language being an advantage to securing employment. TWU has campuses located in both Richmond, B.C. and Langley, B.C.
Just outside of Vancouver, TWU Richmond provides programs tailored to an international audience. In an urban setting close to public
transit, this campus features high-tech classrooms and hosts students in our Trinity Language Centre pathway. Here you’ll have easy access to the benefits of a big city— shopping, food, culture, and concerts.
Surrounded by nature and with a fantastic view of the Coast Mountains, our main campus in Langley, British Columbia is home to our traditional undergraduate students. On sunny days, the lawns around campus are full of students reading, relaxing in hammocks, or enjoying all kinds of fun outdoor activities. In cooler weather, students connect in the Trinity Commons or gather outdoors by the fire in the Ubuntu Pavilion.
You’ll love what living on campus has to offer. Dorms are more than just a place to sleep. Whether it’s dorm movie nights, all-night study sessions, competing in dorm skits during Fort Week, or having meals together in the cafeteria, living in residence is an incredible way to meet lifelong friends from all over the world.
If you’re planning on commuting, the entire community experience is here for you, and our commuter collegiums are specially designed to serve as the perfect home away
from home. Featuring comfy couches, cozy fireplaces, and an endless supply of coffee, collegiums are fully equipped with modern kitchens and stocked with snacks, making for an ideal place to get some work done or just hang out with friends.
Need a place to cook your lunch, meet friends, take a nap, or study? The Global Lounge is a space for residents and commuters to get together, meet new friends from all over the world, and relax in a warm and welcoming environment.
I came to TWU Richmond very nervous. After finishing my first semester, I realized there was nothing to be afraid of. The community is caring and full of support for international students who move into a new city alone.
Looking for opportunities to meet new friends, make lifelong memories, and grow in all areas of your life? Whatever your skills or interests, there’s a club, team, ministry, or activity for you to join.
At TWU, you can play on an intramural sports team, take a walk with friends around McMillan Lake or through our network of nature trails, cheer on the Spartans, have some laughs at 11:07 (our comedy improv night)—and that’s just one day in the life of being a TWU student.

Our Intercultural Programs help international students as they transition to life and school in Canada. ICP acts as a bridge between North American and international students, and with over 70 cultures represented on campus, we love introducing everyone in the TWU community to new cultures. ICP organizes activities and offers welcoming personal connections for international and multi-cultural students through intercultural events like film showings, dances, community dinners, clubs, and more.
Every other weekday, as a vibrant part of campus life, we gather as a community for our voluntary chapel service. Chapel features an engaging lineup of speakers, thought-provoking messages, community prayer, student-led worship, and more. Participate in one of our many on-campus Student Life programs, such as small-group Bible studies, discipleship groups, and spiritual formation workshops. Our peer mentorship program pairs students for individual discipleship.

We’re all about the people, places, events, and ideas that shape our world. Interested in why we act the way we do? Think it’s important to study the past in order to create a better future? Excellent. You’re right where you belong.
My studies at TWU have profoundly impacted me both intellectually and spiritually. I felt supported and encouraged by my professors in all the courses I took. Because of my math degree at TWU, I am able to approach problems and find solutions with a deeper critical lens and a greater appreciation for how Christianity and science interact.
“Lewis Van Dyk,
Corporate Communication is the best degree you can get to learn important professional and life skills. Since graduating, I feel equipped in writing, public speaking, marketing, and human resources and ready to fulfill any need employers may have. I genuinely loved my time in this program. And if you’re looking for something to prepare you for your future—in any industry—this is it.

I really appreciate that the TWU Business program faculty were actively engaged in a wide variety of fields that provided access to current, in-depth examples of real-life business. Rather than focusing on book knowledge, they encouraged us to use critical thinking in our coursework by using simulations and case studies, enhanced by small class sizes and easy access to professors outside of class time.

Our time in the School of Education at TWU was transformational, equipping, and empowering in the most sacred of ways. Daily, we were given the opportunity to learn from exceptional educators in small, personalized learning environments, who modeled creative and engaging lessons for us to learn from. We would highly recommend TWU to aspiring educators who value being poured into and challenged, and who appreciate the rich benefit of high levels of collaboration with their peers. We still find ourselves in contact with our past professors and classmates and are thankful for having received such a strong foundation for our teaching practice.
Want to make a difference in the lives of children and young people? Whether you plan to become a certified teacher or an instructor in community-based environments, we’ll support you on your journey to becoming a knowledgeable, competent, reflective, and compassionate educator.

Studying in the HKIN department challenged me to expand my perception of what it means to be holistically well—mentally, physically, emotionally, and spiritually. I enjoyed the leadership from all my professors, some of whom have developed into mentors for me personally and professionally.

I love what the school offers beyond the nursing program—the connections with professors and learning from a Christian perspective. My favorite part of the program was being at the hospital with patients during my clinical experience. NURSING
Caring for the health and well-being of individuals, families, and communities is both motivating and rewarding. We give you the knowledge and skills you need for a nursing career in hospitals and community-based settings and the practical experience you require to be highly sought after when you graduate.
