By Chris Frost Tri County Sentry Oxnard-- The Oxnard City Council, Tuesday, October 5, held a public hearing and approved the sale of Oxnard Community Development Commission Successor Agency-owned property located on Sixth and Seventh streets to the Oxnard Housing Authority. The motion had an amendment to explore developing a presentation on medium-sized parks in the parcels. The total purchase price for the four properties, vacant dirt lots, is $212,740. Camarillo receives homeless update By Chris Frost Tri County Sentry Camarillo--The Camarillo City Council received an update about the state of homelessness in Ventura County during its Wednesday, September 29 meeting. Ventura County Continuum of Care Program Director Tara Karuth updated the council on the county’s effort and said the priority of the Continuum of Care includes data, system gaps, and

upcoming funding opportunities. “In 2018, the Ventura County Continuum of Care, with input from our regional stakeholders and service providers, established the Ventura County plan to prevent and end homelessness,” she said. “The core components are focused on developing a homeless response system that is effective and quickly moves persons into permanent housing.” She said they plan to update the system with all its regional n Camarillo, see page 6
