fantasmas

Cambiaste y no te diste cuenta a qué hora. Ahora sólo esperas en esta ciudad que parece de fantasmas.

Franz Ferdinand Jacqueline

Jacqueline was seventeen, working on a desk When Ivor peered above a spectacle Forgot that he had wrecked a girl

Sometimes these eyes forget the face they’re peering from When the face they peer upon Well, you know that face as I do And how in the return of the gaze She can return you the face that you are staring from

It’s always better on holiday, so much better on holiday That’s why we only work when we need the money

It’s always better on holiday, so much better on holiday That’s why we only work when we need the money Gregor was down again, said, “Come on, kick me again” Said, “I’m so drunk, I don’t mind if you kill me Come on, you gutless

Yeah, I’m alive, oh, I’m alive Oh, I’m alive and how I know it Oh, but for chips and for freedom, I could die”

It’s always better on holiday, so much better on holiday That’s why we only work when we need the money

It’s always better on holiday, so much better on holiday That’s why we only work when we need the money

It’s always better on holiday, so much better on holiday That’s why we only work when we need the money

It’s always better on holiday, so much better on holiday That’s why we only work when we, we need the money

Mother Mother

Ghosting I’ve been ghosting, I’ve been ghosting along Ghost in your house, ghost in your arms When you’re tossing, when you turn in your sleep It’s because I’m ghosting your dreams And this is why I have decided To pull these old white sheets from my head I’ll leave them folded neat and tidy So that you’ll know I’m out of hiding I’ve been ghosting, I’ve been ghosting along Ghost in the world, ghost with no home I remember, I remember the days When I’d make you oh-so afraid And this is why I have decided To leave your house and home un-haunted You don’t need poltergeists for sidekicks

You don’t need treats And you don’t need tricks You don’t need treats You don’t need tricks You don’t need no Halloween You don’t need treats You don’t need tricks And you don’t need Me

Hey, would it be so bad if I stayed I’m just a ghost out of his grave And I can’t make love in my grave I won’t put white into your hair I won’t make noises in your stairs I will be kind and I’ll be sweet If you stop staring straight through me And this is why I have decided To pull these old white sheets from my head I’ll leave them folded neat and tidy So that you’ll know I’m out of hiding And this is why I have decided To leave your house and home un-haunted You don’t need poltergeists for sidekicks

You don’t need treats And you don’t need tricks You don’t need treats You don’t need tricks You don’t need no Halloween You don’t need treats You don’t need tricks You don’t need treats You don’t need no Hallows Eve You don’t need treats You don’t need tricks And you don’t need me

I saw a ghost on the stairs, And sheets on the tables and chairs, The silverware swam with the sharks in the sink, Even so, I don’t know, what to think. I’ve been longing for, Daisies to push through the floor, And I wish that plant life would grow all around me, So I won’t feel dead anymore. So I won’t feel dead anymore. I saw a bear in the den, Reading my textbooks again, That bats flowed like traffic as they poured from the attic, Heaven knows, I could really use a friend. I’d rather waltz than just walk through the forest, The trees keep the tempo and they sway in time, Quartet of crickets chime in for the chorus, If I were to pluck on your heartstrings, would you strum on mine? I’ve been longing for, Daisies to push through the floor, And I wish plant life would grow all around me,

So I won’t feel dead anymore.

Owl City Plant Life

So I won’t feel dead anymore. Your spirit is sweet, so pull off your sheet, And give me a ghost of a smile, Show me your teeth, ‘cause you’re teddy beneath, So just grin and bear it a while. Just grin and bear it a while. I’d rather waltz than just walk through the forest, The trees keep the tempo and they sway in time, Quartet of crickets chime in for the chorus, If I were to pluck on your heartstrings, would you strum on mine? Today I’m busting out, Of this old haunted house, ‘Cause I’m sick of waiting for, All the spider webs to grow all around me, ‘Cause I don’t feel dead anymore. And I’m not afraid anymore. I’d rather waltz than just walk through the forest, The trees keep the tempo and they sway in time, Quartet of crickets chime in for the chorus, If I were to pluck on your heartstrings, would you strum on mine? If I were to pluck on your heartstrings, would you strum on mine?

No surprises A heart that’s full up like a landfill A job that slowly kills you Bruises that won’t heal You look so tired, unhappy Bring down the government They don’t, they don’t speak for us I’ll take a quiet life A handshake of carbon monoxide With no alarms and no surprises No alarms and no surprises No alarms and no surprises Silent, silent This is my final fit My final bellyache With no alarms and no surprises No alarms and no surprises No alarms and no surprises, please Such a pretty house And such a pretty garden No alarms and no surprises No alarms and no surprises No alarms and no surprises please

Parekh & Singh

Ghost Sometimes I get much closer than I intend The other time I just like to sit out on the fence Most times I can’t even tell the difference Partially a ghost Don’t you get too close I love you way more than you know I’m partially a ghost We tried to get back to the way it was back then It is the best thing to do and trouble ends But then why did the world make me what I am within? I’m partially a ghost Don’t you get too close I love you way more than you know I’m partially a ghost Change my life just upon a whim Jump into the ocean learn to swim Come to summer, winter, all and the seasons I guess that might be the reason That I’m a ghost I’m partially a ghost I love you more than you know That’s why I’m a ghost

Those who are dead, are not dead They’re just living in my head And since I fell for that spell I am living there as well Oh, Time is so short and I’m sure There must be something more Those who are dead, are not dead They’re just living in my head, oh And since I fell for that spell I am living there as well, oh

Time is so short and I’m sure There must be something more. You You You You

thought you might be thought you might be didn’t get to heaven didn’t get to heaven

a ghost a ghost but you made it close but you made it close

You thought you might be a ghost You thought you might be a ghost You didn’t get to heaven but you made it close You didn’t get to heaven but you oh, oh, Oh, oh,

Those who are dead are not dead They’re just living in my head

The ghost of Beverly drive If only you’d have known me before the accident For with that grand collision came a grave consequence Receptors overloaded, they burst and disconnect ‘Til there was little feeling please work with what is left Oh I need not be flattered that you’ve never been here before So there’s no need to mention that you’ve no firsts anymore But if you let me be your skyline I’ll let you be the wave That reduces me to rubble that looked safe from far away

I don’t know why, I don’t know why I return to the scenes of these crimes Where the hedgerows slowly wind Through the ghosts of Beverly Drive I don’t know why, I don’t know why I don’t know what I expect to find Where all the news is second hand And everything just goes on as planned You wanna teach but not be taught And I wanna sell but not be bought So let us not be lonesome So let us not be lonesome Lost in between our needs and wants Our needs and wants I don’t know why, I don’t know why I return to the scenes of these crimes Where the hedgerows slowly wind Through the ghosts of Beverly Drive I don’t know why, I don’t know why I don’t know what I expect to findSWhere all the news is second hand And everything just goes on as planned

Oh Klahoma

Yeah yeah Yeah yeah Yeah yeah

(Yeah), (Yeah), (Yeah), (Yeah), (Yeah), (Yeah)

yeah (Yeah), yeah, yeah yeah (Yeah), yeah, yeah yeah (Yeah),

Set the phasers to rot What has got you distraught? It’s negative attention at best But call it nothing Maybe it’s something, a little bit, a little bit Maybe it’s something to do a little bit It’s all about ascension, I guess Don’t put me to rest Go on and hand me your clothes (O-oh, here you go) Take a picture or two (Two or three?) I can see you (Oh) Tears falling down at the party Saddest little baby in the room Fears, tell me fears, don’t get me started I get a little grey hair for every scare you share Those aren’t meant to bend No, those aren’t meant to bend Those aren’t…

Daft Punk Touch

Touch, I remember touch Pictures came with touch A painter in my mind Tell me what you see

Kiss, suddenly alive Happiness arrive Hunger like a storm How do I begin?

Hold on If love is the answer you hold

A tourist in a dream A visitor it seems A half-forgotten song Where do I belong? Tell me what you see I need something more

A room within a room A door behind a door Touch, where do you lead? I need something more Tell me what you see I need something more

Touch, sweet touch You’ve given me too much to feel Sweet touch You’ve almost convinced me I’m real I need something more
