Fellow Sebastian new friend! Cindy was nominated by her amazing daughter Jess Marie to receive a free brand new Lennox a/c system through the Lennox Feel The Love program over the summer. Her story pulled at our hearts having been without an a/c system for 3 YEARS, husband passing away a lil over a year ago, taking care of her grandson and grown son with Aspergers. Since 2009 Lennox has been donating a/c systems through The LII Lennox Foundation to local deserving families. They could be soldiers, elderly, family fallen on hard times, etc. Local a/c companies reach out to the community to ask for nominees, after reviewing, chose a candidate and initiate contact. We make sure their duct work is in good shape, and do a general inspection of the current unit being removed. Once we are sure it’s a match, we get in touch with our territory managers who places the order with Lennox for the complete new system along with a wifi thermostat, while the a/c company gets the permit for the town of residence and any other materials needed for the installation. We also order special t-shirts, yard signs & stickers all free of charge through the program. Installation day, we show up with breakfast, Lennox reps and our crew. Lunch is also provided as we encourage the recipient to invite their family and friends to celebrate. Take pics of everyone and the work being done. End of the day, we hang out for a bit, teach them how to use the thermostat, congratulate them and let them know we’ll see them in 6 months for preventative maintenance.
