Registration Registration begins for Danville Residents, Wednesday, August 18, and for non-residents on Thursday, August 19 at 8:30 a.m. Registration forms can be dropped off or mailed to the Community Center at 420 Front Street, Danville, CA 94526. All resident registrations submitted prior to the first day of registration will be entered on Wednesday, August 18, with no priority given. Non-resident registration will begin on Thursday, August 19. The Town will only accept registrations by phone after the first day of registration. Please call (925) 314-3400 with any questions.
Volunteers Wanted! SENIOR EVENTS GALLERY EVENTS Volunteer opportunities are available for driving seniors to appointments, leading walks, facilitating book clubs, organizing card games such as Bunco or Mah-Jongg, or help with office work such as filing, answering calls, mailings, and helping with monthly special events. The Village Theatre Art Gallery is looking for greeters in the gallery. Becoming a gallery greeter offers you the opportunity to learn about different works of art, artists, historical periods, and cultures. No experience necessary. Training will be provided and flexible shifts are available. Greeters provide an essential link between the exhibit and the visitor. Assignments are available on a long and short-term basis depending on the needs of the Town of Danville.
